TikTok star Anna Paul was left gobsmacked after taking a trip to an American supermarket this week.
The influencer, 25, took to the social media platform to share her US grocery store experience with fans as well as some of the more ‘left-of-centre’ products she discovered on her adventure.
First up, Anna was stunned at the size of the supermarket’s produce section compared to the adjacent, much larger confectionary aisle.
‘We’re in an American grocery store and these are some of the craziest foods we can see,’ she said in the clip.
‘The produce section is teensy…teeny weeny! Look at this.’
The first unusual product that caught Anna’s eye was a packet of bacon. Innocuous enough, except for the fact that the meat was infused with the flavours of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal.

‘Cereal-flavoured bacon,’ she exclaimed quizzically, while her shopping partner, brother Atis, declared: ‘That’s a money saver.’
She then spotted another unusual breakfast item that piqued her interest.
‘A blueberry pancake hamburger breakfast situation,’ she said. ‘That’s just crazy.’
Anna was also enthralled with the selection of unusual butters that were on offer in US supermarkets.
‘This is movie theatre butter for your popcorn,’ she said, holding up a butter of oily looking liquid. ‘How is that butter?’
There was also butter in an aerosol can that grabbed Anna’s attention.
‘No way,’ she exclaimed. ‘Movie theatre butter flavoured spritzer. You can spray paint your popcorn to taste like butter.

‘I would do it for fun, but that’s just crazy,’ Anna admitted.
It wasn’t all criticism though, with Anna finding some products she definitely got excited about, including cinnamon sugared donut flavoured coffee and cookie butter coffee.
‘Americans know what they’re doing,’ she said when spying the products.
Anna was also quite impressed with the supermarket’s exhaustive range of Oreo cookies, not caring that some contained controversial food additive Red 40.
‘The Oreo section is so big,’ she said excitedly, before picking up a packet of red-hued cookies.
‘This is definitely Red 40 but it’s fine,’ she said. Red Oreos, that’s good.’
Red 40 is a synthetic food dye that has been linked to several adverse health effects.
The post was met with a flurry of comments from fans with an American follower admitting they had never seen many of the products in Anna’s video.

‘As an American idk how tourists always manage to find food I’ve never seen in my life or heard of anyone eating,’ they wrote.
Another suggested that Anna should visit US supermarket chain Whole Foods to get a better picture of US eating habits, but the influencer was having none of it.
‘It’s just a Tiktok showing some unique foods that we don’t have at home,’ she replied.
‘I’m not gonna film a bunch of apples and tomatoes that cost $150 at wholefoods and make a Tiktok out of it lol.’
Another commenter summed up the sentiment of many, saying they were ‘scared’ of American food.
‘USA food is scary as a Canadian it takes me 2x longer shopping cause I’m reading all the ingredients,’ they said. ‘The meat doesn’t even taste like meat. Especially chicken.’
Known by her fans as ‘Australia’s Kim Kardashian’, Anna boasts a whopping seven million combined followers on TikTok and Instagram.
The brunette bombshell found fame on TikTok by sharing lip-sync videos and vlogs documenting her life.
She then moved into a lucrative career posting content on adult subscription-based sites.
While Anna has claimed she grew up poor, the online star now leads a lavish lifestyle envied by many and boasts a reported net work of over $10million.
