Devasted Thomas Skinner has announced the death of a friend on Friday to his fans as he paid tribute.
The Apprentice star, 34, who was first to be eliminated from this year’s Strictly, took to social media to share the heartbreaking update.
He told fans how he had struggled to get in touch with his mate who he hadn’t seen in person in a number of years.
Thomas explained: ‘The last couple of weeks I’ve been trying to get hold of an old mate of mine who I ain’t seen face to face in a couple of years.
‘Always the odd message or text but haven’t got round to catching up.’
The dad-of-three continued: ‘We all know how busy life is with work and children and we kept saying we will meet up soon.

‘I wanted to ask his advice on something as it’s what he does for work and I couldn’t get through to him so I’ve had to reach out to people that know him today and I’ve just found out he’d taken his own life recently.’
Thomas finished his heartbreaking post: ‘I’m absolutely gutted.
‘I’m heartbroken for him and his family. I honestly didn’t know.’
Alongside his tribute, Thomas shared a screenshot of the last message exchange between him and his deceased friend.
He was flooded with support and condolences by his fans, while some said they’d keep his friend in their prayers.
Earlier this month Thomas furiously took to social media where he said he wished he’d never taken part in Strictly.
He said he received ‘constant abuse’ after it was revealed he cheated on his wife.
Thomas admitted to being unfaithful to Sinead, with Amy-Lucy O’Rourke just weeks after their wedding in May 2022, claiming the ‘two-week fling’ was a ‘moment of madness’ that saw him almost ‘ruin his life’.

In a lengthy post, the reality star wrote: ‘I’ve had enough of all this b*****. I can’t do anything right now without someone criticising (sic) me. Or making me do something against my will. It’s b*******.
‘I wish I never done Strictly, l never fitted the bill for that show let’s be honest. And It’s caused me nothing but agg. Constant abuse.
He continued: ‘All I f***in do is try to spread positivity online. I can’t walk anywhere without people knowing who I am.
‘I’ve had a narrative spun against me so people always have an opinion on me now that they didn’t 3 months ago. I’ve heard so many lies said and told about me. It’s driving me mad.
‘I’ve had a constant pile of abuse over the last month like l’m a mass murderer. It’s b*******.
‘I went out to work in my van this morning and I’m either getting beeped at or people putting their thumb up at me.’
