This Morning viewers were left begging producers to make Emma Willis and Rylan Clark the full-time replacements for Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.
The former Big Brother presenter, 47, and X Factor star, 35, fronted the show on Friday to the delight of excited viewers, who lauded their on-screen chemistry.
Twitter users penned: ‘What a fabulous week with @Rylan and @EmmaWillis. I’ve not enjoyed the programme this much for ages!!!… please just announce @EmmaWillis and @Rylan as the main presenters! There’s nobody better’.
In October, Holly quit the show after 14 years – months after her long-time co-star and good friend Phillip left in the wake of the shocking scandal surrounding his ‘ill-advised but not illegal’ affair with a younger colleague on the show.
News of their replacements has been circling ever since, as a carousel of stars, including Dermot O’Leary, Cat Deeley and Alison Hammond, have been standing in before the permanent fixture is put in place.

This Morning fans were thrilled on Monday as Emma, who was replacing last week’s host Cat, and Rylan reunited to present the ITV show.
Emma previously hosted Big Brother during its previous incarnation on Channel 5, while Rylan, 35, fronted sister show Bit On The Side, and the duo have hosted This Morning together in the past.
On Friday, viewers soon flooded Twitter to beg to make the partnership a permanent fixture as they reached out to the producers on the microblogging site.
Users penned: ‘What a fabulous week with @Rylan and @EmmaWillis. I’ve not enjoyed the programme this much for ages!!! Please keep them!!!!… Yes please I can’t live without you and Emma presenting @thismorning…
‘@Rylan &@EmmaWillis you should 100% be the full time presenters. You have a natural chemistry and that’s what’s needed rather than a forced one. @thismorning you know it makes sense and will bring you back to the top again!…

Emma replaced Cat Deeley, who hosted This Morning alongside Rylan earlier this month
‘@Rylan and @EmmaWillis are the best combination I’ve seen on @thismorning. Give them the gig… Love Emma Willis as your presenter-she can be serious, kind, funny and lighthearted and you actually feel like she cares about people…
‘Absolutely loved @EmmaWillis & @Rylan this week!!! It’s one of the best duos… the best duo ever with @Rylan and @EmmaWillis they have to be permanent… Dear @thismorning producers please can we keep @EmmaWillis…
‘Who thinks that @thismorning should give @Rylan and @EmmaWillis permanent job on the show #ThisMorning @ITV I think you should give them permanent job.’
However, the duo being permanent seems unlikely as Josie Gibson, who is currently on I’m A Celeb, has just 50/1 odds of replacing Holly.
The favourite to replace Holly is Loose Women’s Christine Lampard.
Holly left the show last month ‘for the sake of her family’ after discovering she was the target of a foiled kidnap and murder plot and has since not been replaced permanently.
