The Traitors star Linda Rands has revealed she has already locked in her TV return and dished on why she never would have betrayed Minah Shannon on the show.
The retired opera singer, 72, became a firm fan favourite on the popular BBC show’s third series with her iconic head turn when host Claudia Winkleman said the word ‘traitors’ in episode one becoming an online meme.
It was her very first TV role but Linda has insisted she has no plans to step away from our screens as she has already lined up another on-screen job.
Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Linda revealed she has been signed up for a cameo appearance on Comic Relief in a mystery Traitors-themed comedy sketch.
‘I’m actually doing something for Comic Relief, which will be real fun! I’m looking forward to that,’ she revealed.
Though she doesn’t yet know the specifics of her role, she promised fans: ‘I’m sure there will be a head turn in it!’

Linda, who was promoting her and Minah’s ‘sisterhood’ Nespresso partnership, also revealed the one reality TV competition she would love to appear on.
She shared her hopes of getting her Traitors co-star, priest Lisa Coupland, to be her teammate on Hunted – the real-life thriller where ordinary people go on the run from a team of expert hunters.
‘I think that I’d like to be on something like Hunted with Lisa, that would be funny. I think we’d be great on that,’ she said.
‘I’d probably be waving at them saying ”I’m here” because that’s typically me but I’d love to be on something like that, that would be really fun.
‘Or something on Loose Women or This Morning, I wouldn’t mind doing that!’
Reflecting on her time on The Traitors, Linda dished on the now-famous ‘sisterhood’ between herself and her fellow Traitor Minah, 29, who she wanted to make it to the final.
Minah famously betrayed Linda and voted her off the show – with Linda’s blessing – in a bid to save herself from suspicion after the tables began to turn.
Despite being knocked out of the competition, Linda said she holds no bad feelings towards Minah, though she confessed she never could have betrayed Minah if the tables were turned.

Minah famously betrayed Linda and voted her off the show – with Linda’s blessing – but the opera singer insisted she never would have voted for Minah if the tables had been turned
When asked if she would have turned on Minah, she replied: ‘No, I couldn’t have done that.
‘I think probably we would [have both gone down together] because I would have gone random again and chosen somebody else, I would never have chosen her.’
She added: ‘I would have liked to have gone to the end with Minah, that was my whole idea, but when I felt that I was going, I did say to her ”vote for me if you feel it’s going my way because I don’t want you to be put in a place where you’re looking suspicious”.
‘I really wanted her to go to the end, but hey, it didn’t happen.’
Although there was a ‘sisterhood’ among the original three Traitors – which also included Armani Gouveia – Linda admitted she would have loved to see Kasim ‘Kas’ Ahmed join the betrayers.
‘I think I would liked Kas to have been a Traitor, I think he would have been really good,’ she revealed.
‘He’s really intelligent and very on the ball, I think he would have been a good Traitor because he had good plans.’
After being ejected from the contest, Linda was just as shocked as everyone else to see fake Welshwoman Charlotte Berman throw Minah under the bus and then lie after Francesca ‘Frankie’ Rowan-Plowden found out her identity.

‘[I was most shocked by] Charlotte! I could not believe it,’ Linda admitted.
‘Especially when Frankie had found out that she was a Traitor and then Charlotte turned it round on her, I couldn’t have done that.
‘I would have gone ”OK, fine I’m a Traitor”. She was so clever but I couldn’t have done that!’
Linda has become a social media star ever since her iconic head-turn came to screens, but she confessed she didn’t expect the ‘crazy’ fan reaction to her move – which she still insists she doesn’t even remember doing.
‘It’s been totally crazy, I totally didn’t expect it to the level that it has happened, but it’s amazing. I’m loving it, I’m absolutely loving every minute of it,’ she said.
‘I really went on the show just to play the game, I didn’t realise – although I watched one and two – what a big impact it has made on people. It’s crazy!’
Offering advice to applicants for season four, Linda urged people to be themselves, be prepared to ditch their game plans and be ‘very hard-skinned’ amid the tension of the round tables.
Linda’s comments came as she promoted her Nespresso campaign, which has seen her and Minah join forces to promote the coffee brand’s collaboration with Oatly.

The ‘sisters’ have been giving away free Oat Flat Whites to travellers at stations around the UK to celebrate the launch of the limited-edition coffee pod made for oat drink lovers.
‘I love coffee and I also drink Oatly! So it was a perfect combination,’ Linda gushed.
‘Having lived in the Netherlands for 34 years – that is a coffee drinking nation! They have four or five cups of coffee in the morning.
‘It’s a really good taste, the coffee with the Oatly drink, it froths up really well and it’s really delicious.’
Nespresso have teamed up with Oatly to create a limited-edition coffee made for oat drink lovers, made exclusively for Nespresso Vertuo coffee machines. The capsule is available to purchase from https://www.nespresso.com and in stores for a limited time only.
