Nicole’s best friend Naomi Watts has two children with Liev, so the costars have known each other for many years.
The official logline for the limited series reads: ‘Amelia Sacks (Hewson – who is Bono’s daughter) is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket.
‘Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season — until a body turns up on the beach.
‘As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect.’
In the trailer, Dakota Fanning’s character Abby Winbury offers advice to her soon-to-be sister-in-law Amelia, ‘The key to this family is to just stay on the periphery, where it’s safe.’
However, when a dead body is found on the beach, the wedding weekend swiftly unravels into a web of suspicion.
Another character’s voice can be heard saying of the Winbury family in the clip, ‘They’re rich. Kill-someone-and-get-away-with-it-rich.’
An officer then questions Greer at the police station, asking, ‘Is there something you want to tell me?’
