Kylie Gillies’ summer holidays included a surprise low-key wedding at Avoca Beach on the Central Coast.
The Morning Show host, 57, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a carousel of sweet photos taken with her husband Tony as they acted as witnesses for another couple’s nuptials at the popular tourist spot.
The first photo showed Kylie and Tony smiling broadly for a sweet golden hour selfie in front of the ocean, with their hands intertwined and Kylie’s wedding band on display.
The happy couple, who celebrated their 35th wedding anniversary in July, beamed with pride as they cuddled up for the picture.
Kylie looked every inch the off-duty TV personality in a simple black T-shirt and a pair of linen shorts as she stood over an outdoor table as she put her signature on a marriage certificate for the mystery couple.
‘Tony thought it would be a good idea to go on a second honeymoon. Too bad it was someone else’s,’ she captioned the post.

‘How’s this for a holiday souvenir: We were just the official witnesses to a beach wedding of a couple we’d never met before tonight,’ she wrote.
‘It was 6:40pm and we were walking along Avoca Beach.
‘A friendly stranger stopped us and asked if we would do the honours.
‘Turns out Kaitlyn was a celebrant. We told her we’d been married 35 years. We love a romantic story, so why not!’ Kylie penned in her caption.
‘First time I’ve worn Havianas, shorts and three day beach hair to a wedding!’
The next photos showed Tony also stopping to sign her marriage certificate and the newlyweds’ joined hands, without sharing their faces to Kylie’s sizeable social media following.
The pair of journalists were thrilled to be included in the special and intimate moment for the couple.
‘Congrats to this beautiful, low-key, in-love couple, who are yet to tell family and friends,’ Kylie continued.

She noted that while her husband also filmed a wedding video for the couple, they are ‘leaving it to them to share the pictures’ once they’ve shared the happy news with their loved ones.

‘My Aunty Maree found this pic in a shoebox and sent it to me a few weeks back,’ Kylie captioned the post.
‘I THINK it was the Christmas Tony and I got engaged. Well, today is our 35TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY!
‘I’ve lost the perm and learned how to better apply blush. Tony never had a perm, it just looked like it! And he no longer has the shirt. Miami Vice called and wanted it back.’
