The husband of late Saturday Disney host Jeniene Mapp-Testa has revealed the one thing she hoped to achieve before she died aged 49 from kidney failure in October.
Her husband Lincoln, 62, revealed to New Idea magazine this week that Jeniene always wanted to see her son, 19, walk down the aisle and start a family – but tragically never got to do so.
‘Her biggest regret was that she won’t see Ben get married or have children. Ben was the love of her life,’ he said.
‘Jeniene was so strong but she decided that this was it, she couldn’t fight anymore.’
Lincoln, who runs a popular café on the Gold Coast, married Jeniene in 1997 and they welcomed their son Ben in February 2004.

The presenter will be farewelled in a private service at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church in Brisbane on Friday, the same place Jeniene and Lincoln married.
Jeniene passed away on November 20 after ongoing dialysis treatment, after she failed to quality for a necessary kidney transplant.
Mapp-Testa was an original host of Saturday Disney from 1990 alongside James Sherry and Sofie Formica.

She worked with Disney Australia for 14 years before launching Disney Channel in Australia, hosting Studio D and Playhouse Disney from 1997 to 2003.
Mapp-Testa often documented her dialysis treatment on social media, with her final Instagram post thanking hospital staff for making her birthday ‘so special’.
Fellow television host Shelley Craft shared a tribute to the star via social media on Sunday.
Craft took over Mapp-Testa’s hosting duties on Saturday Disney in 1996.
