It’s been ten months since Claire Foy’s car was wrecked in a distressing hit-and-run.
But now The Crown star appears to have swapped the damaged BMW for an electric Smart car.
The 40-year-old was spotted wrapped up warmly last week as she charged her new motor.
She was dressed casually in a full-length woollen coat, black hoodie and a beanie, paired with an on-trend pair of burgundy Adidas Sambas and red socks, as she plugged in the vehicle in London.
Ms Foy was left in tears last March after waking up to find her car had been left wrecked outside her North London home.
It is understood no one has been charged over the accident, which left three cars on Ms Foy’s street with significant damage, including a gaping hole in the side of her black BMW.
An onlooker said at the time: ‘It looked like most of the cars involved were totalled. Claire took pictures from the other side of the road.’
