Bill Skarsgård and FKA Twigs star opposite one another in the chilling official trailer of The Crow remake.
The 33-year-old actor stars as Eric Draven/The Crow while the singer, 36, plays his fiancée Shelly Webster in the upcoming thriller about their tragic love story and tale of revenge.
The story follows the soulmates as they are brutally murdered by dangerous people from Shelly’s dark past, and given the chance to save her, Eric sacrifices himself and becomes The Crow.
The teaser was released on Thursday just weeks after first look images to tease the forthcoming reboot, a modern reimagining of the original graphic novel created by James O’Barr.
The movie is a remake of the 1994 cult classic film starring Bruce Lee’s son Brandon Lee, who was tragically killed on set in a prop gun accident.

Over three decades after the real-life tragedy, Skarsgard is now taking on the role and playing the part of a heavily-tattooed and hunky Eric Draven, who becomes a vengeful man after losing his beloved Shelly — played by FKA Twigs, whose full name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett.
He is resurrected from the dead and goes in a killing spree to avenge his lover after she was murdered by an assassin, who is played by Danny Huston, 61.
The trailer begins with a romantic and steamy montage of moments between Eric and Shelly as they reminisce on the beginning of their love story.
‘What’s the first thing you liked about me?’ he asks her as they curl up in blankets on a rooftop, ignoring the beauty of city skyline at night and bask in each other.
‘I thought that you were quite brilliantly broken,’ Shelly answers as a flashback plays of their prison jumpsuit-clad, love-at-first-sight moment in penitentiary.
Cut to present time, and the lovebirds have been celebrating their release together in bed.
‘You feel like my person,’ he says in an audio clip laid over a steamy montage of them together as Shelly repeats it back to him.
Eric and Shelly are then seen in the bath together as he prompts the question: ‘What’s the worst thing you’ve ever done?’

Eric later returns homes as mannequins, or so they seem, are shown with plastic bags over their heads.
Horrifyingly, he finds Shelly being tied down by two men as she screams for help.
The couple are killed together, staring into each other’s eyes in terror, as the murderers strangle them to death with the same plastic bags.
‘When someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead,’ the narrator reads. ‘But sometimes something so bad happens that the soul cannot rest until you put the wrong things right.’
‘You were given the power of a god, but you’re running out of time to save her.’
Eric is resurrected and goes on a killing spree, seeking bloody and merciless revenge for losing his beloved.

Meanwhile, Eric applies black paint under his eyes and fully transforms into the superhero.
‘The first impulse, anger,’ Laura Birn’s character explains before another woman stops her and says that ‘it’s not anger, it’s love’ as to why Eric has been resurrected and stirred into action.
