Drew Taggart of the electronic pop duo The Chainsmokers and his girlfriend, model Mari Fonseca, sparked engagement rumors on Sunday.
The singer, 34, held hands with the Brazilian model, also 34, who was flashing a large diamond engagement ring on her wedding finger.
The power couple have been together for almost two years.
They were seen carrying full wine glasses when leaving the celebrity-friendly Italian restaurant Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica, California.
Taggart wore a black sweater with black jeans and was seen carrying a glass of red wine in one hand while holding his fiancée’s hand.
Mari looked beautiful in a strapless, midi-length, figure-hugging black dress with a slit up one side. The founder of beauty line Gente, paired the dress with a black leather trench coat and knee-high black boots.

Drew and Mari got into their car still holding their glasses of wine.
The couple have been dating since early 2023 after connecting at a party in Los Angeles.
The musician and the model had known each other through mutual friends and had been guests at the same parties several times before they talked to each other.
Drew shared a gushing post about that meeting and first convo when he released the song Summertime Friends, which is about Mari.
‘I fell in love with this girl named Mari last spring which you probably know by now if you if you’ve been following this page for the last 6 months.
‘A few weeks after we started hanging out i was in NYC in the studio and wrote this song called ‘Summertime Friends’ about the night we met,’ his lengthy caption began.
‘I had run into her at this party in LA (classic). We had known each other in passing for a couple years but never had a substantial conversation.
‘She said hi to me at the bar where I was stuck making small talk with a couple I didn’t really know.

‘She looked so beautiful, way out of my league, and in my memory, a foot taller than me.
‘We stepped aside and ended up talking way too long and far too deeply for this type of party. She told me about her family, her ambitions, and that she didn’t believe true love existed.’
He continued to gush about Mari, going into how much they had in common and wondering why it took so long for the two of them to strike up a conversation.
‘I think I knew then that we were supposed to be together.
‘ Luckily I had the courage to ask for her number at the end of the night and luckily she was feeling open minded,’ he said.
And now the two are engaged! Mari counts Drew as her biggest supporter whether that is attending a fashion show with her or going to one of her events for her beauty line Gente.

‘He always tries to make things better for me and he always makes my days better. And with the brand, he has been so supportive in so many ways and has helped me so much.
‘I’ve never experienced that kind of love and someone that really just cares for me and wants to see me winning.
‘Not for any reason just because he loves me and that’s just the most special for me,’ she said.
