The Block’s Mimi Belperio has finally spoken out about her experience on the show after she and her partner, Kristian, achieved a perfect score this week.
In the final week of the reality TV competition, the couple seemed to have moved past the ‘flirtgate’ scandal by winning the clubhouse challenge on Wednesday night, receiving a perfect score of 10 from all three judges.
On Thursday, the 28-year-old took to Instagram to celebrate their impressive score of 30 for their kitchen and cinema space.
However, she emphasised that their overall experience on the show was far from perfect.
’30/30. Perfect scores are hard to come by on the block and to have received three 10s from the judges last night was surreal. But “perfect” would be the last word I’d use to describe my experience on and after the show,’ she began.
‘It was heavily flawed. As is the real world and the online world that we live in.’
Continuing her lengthy post, Mimi subtly addressed the recent ‘cheating’ scandal that emerged from last week’s episode of the renovation show.
‘I think that it’s important to remind ourselves, that not one single person in this world is perfect and that we all make mistakes. It is something incredibly special about humans and it’s what makes us all interesting and unique individuals,’ she continued.

‘But with these mistakes, gives each of us an opportunity to decide whether or not we want to learn from them or make them again.
‘To be honest, there’s no wrong or right answer, but choosing to learn from them is challenging, uncomfortable and will allow you to evolve and transform into a better version of yourself.’
Mimi went on to mention how hurtful comments on social media affect her, but recognised that deleting negative feedback doesn’t reflect reality.
‘I’ll admit, as much as I try to avoid hurtful and hateful comments, I’ll read a few and it upsets me but I guess that’s the aim of the author,’ she continued.
‘I found myself deleting all of the bad comments because I didn’t want anyone, including myself, to see them.

‘But what I’ve come to realise is that removing them doesn’t show a true representation of the world that we live in.
‘By keeping all of the positive and negative comments, it shows that nobody is perfect, everybody makes mistakes and we all say things driven by emotion.
‘Leaving all variations of comments will give me better insight and will help me continue to strive to be a better person everyday.’
Concluding her post, Mimi addressed The Block’s upcoming auction this weekend.
‘These next few days are going to be big for us block heads so I thought I’d give everyone and myself a reminder that there are so many layers to each and every one of us and it’s important to embrace all of it. Love, hate and everything in between,’ she wrote.
‘It brings me peace knowing that whatever happens this weekend, we are all still flawed no matter what the outcome but it’s the choices you make along the journey that will help you live a life full of meaning.’
It comes after scenes on the show last week saw Brad Baker confess to making ‘inappropriate’ comments towards Mimi over a drink at his home while his sleeping wife Kylie was within earshot.
Brad later said he believed his marriage was ‘done’ and that he had ‘single-handedly destroyed his family’ with his actions after Kylie suddenly abandoned production.
A devastated Kylie flew home to Cairns to be with her and Brad’s four kids after revealing how her husband had told Mimi that he would ‘follow her OnlyFans’.

Despite the drama leaving their marriage ‘in tatters’, Daily Mail Australia understands that Brad and Kylie are still together and are working on their relationship.
‘Kylie and Brad have been spending months working on their marriage,’ a TV insider exclusively confirmed.
‘The Block shoot left their relationship in tatters and they had been preparing themselves for Australia to see what everyone has been whispering about.’
‘A lot of water has gone under the bridge and Kylie has chosen to stand by her man,’ a friend of Kylie’s continued.
‘Brad and Kylie are together and that is really all Australia needs to know.’
