The A-list descend on Aspen for New Year’s on the slopes as Mariah Carey, Bella Hadid and Kevin Costner rub shoulders in ski town

Aspen is the place to be for the Hollywood elite over the holiday season as the A-list crowd have been arriving in their droves to the ski town for New Year’s.

Bella Hadid, Mariah Carey, Brooks Nader and Kevin Costner are among the big names who have been spotted in Colorado in recent days.

While their will no doubt be dozens of glitzy parties being hosted in Beverly Hills, many have opted to hit the slopes for the festive period.

Aspen’s mountains offer top-tier skiing and snowboarding – a major draw for active celebrities and wealthy travellers. 

Celebrities can stay in private estates or exclusive resorts with high levels of security and discretion, minimising fan disruption.

Model Bella, 29, is the latest celebrity to have been spotted arriving at the holiday destination ahead of New Year’s Eve.

She was sporting her signature off-duty style, wearing a graphic print T-shirt with a smiley face and lace-up jeans, layered with a fur-collar lace jacket.

Despite the late hour, Bella was still rocking sunglasses, while her dark blonde locks were swept up into a messy bun.

Meanwhile, the bonafide ‘Queen of Christmas’ Mariah Carey has taken over the holiday village this season.

Earlier this week, the Grammy Award-winning music icon, 56, stepped out in the celeb-loved travel destination in two glamorous outfits.

Early in the day, Mariah put on a busty display in a black sequin blazer with matching mini shorts to check out the Gucci boutique.

With a cowboy hat atop her bouncy blonde curls, Mariah browsed around the luxury store with members of her entourage.

To complete her outfit, the Obsessed singer threw on black tights, gloves and a sparkling diamond choker necklace.

As for her makeup, Mariah rocked bold lashes, a flawless matte complexion and her go-to mauve lipstick.

Once night fell, she reemerged in another jaw-dropping outfit as she strolled Aspen’s cobblestone streets in brown suede boots.

She bundled up in a white floor-length fur coat, which was worn over a tan cable knit top with a waist cinching belt and matching pants.

For added warmth, the mother-of-two wore bright white gloves.

Mariah spent the Christmas holiday with her 14-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, whom she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon. 

The former couple were married from 2008 until their divorce was finalized in 2016.

Looking equally glamorous was Brooks Nader, who has been pictured on several occasions in the location over the past few days.

Brooks didn’t hold back with her eye-catching look, opting for a huge white faux fur coat and matching boots for the occasion.

She added a Malboro branded white cap with a pair of huge sunglasses and a grey furry bag to complete the look. 

Brooks has been holidaying with her three sisters Mary Holland, Grace Ann, and Sarah Jane and Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn.

Also in the same resort, Kevin Costner was spotted enjoying night out with his daughter Lily on Monday ahead of New Year’s Eve.

The actor, 70, and his offspring, 39, wrapped up warm for their night out where they were joined by a group of friends.

Kevin sported a brown coat which he wore with a black jumper, light blue jeans and tan shoes.

Lily opted for a khaki coat with dark jeans and added height to her frame with a pair of brown ankle boots. 

Also wearing green gloves, she completed her look for the evening with a striped clutch bag.

Lily is the daughter of Kevin and his first wife Cindy Silva, who also welcomed Joe and Annie during their 16 year marriage.

On Wednesday evening, the reality star, 28, rocked an all white ensemble she arrived at lunch with actor Evan Ross at Las Montanas.

Kevin is also father to Liam with his ex Bridget Rooney; and Cayden, Hayes and Grace with his second wife Christine Baumgartner.

Kevin was seemingly without new girlfriend Kelly over the festive period, who he began dating  in August.
