‘Love you,’ Gary said as they kissed.
Amber a few days later caught up with her friend Lexi and told her that she and Gary have been spending more time together.
Lexi asked if he was ever married and Amber said he was married before.
‘I feel like I’ve been married, like, five f***ing times,’ Amber quipped.
Amber told Lexi that Gary did not have any children and they were moving at ‘good pace’.
‘The other day, he experienced, like, my first manic episode, almost a blackout,’ Amber said.
Amber in a video package talked about her long mental health journey as a clip showed a doctor saying he was ‘very concerned’ about her anxiety and depression.
‘I have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, and also I am bipolar,’ Amber said. ‘One of my symptoms is having manic episodes, which means I can experience blackouts. When this happens, I actually don’t remember anything. In the past, my mental health has definitely affected my relationships with my boyfriends.’

Amber told Lexi she and Gary started going to couples therapy and have had two sessions already.
‘It feels good to do that for the first time, because, you know, I’m not good at relationships, especially this type of relationship where it’s actually a good one. This is something, like, I don’t wanna mess up,’ Amber said.
Amber has daughter Leah, 15, with her ex-boyfriend Gary Shirley, 37, and also has six-year-old son James with ex Andrew Glennon, 40.
Gary asked their daughter Leah if Amber had reached out recently.
‘No, she has a boyfriend,’ Leah said.
Gary assured Leah that Amber loved her and said his ex needed to incorporate Leah into her life.
Amber meanwhile was shown driving to couples therapy with Gary and thanked him for going.

‘Yeah, and, you know, the reason why I’m doing all this is for you, because I love you. And I’m willing to accept everything about you,’ Gary said.

‘I’m kind of having an issue right now. The mania, like, happened. So I started blacking out. It’s been really hard,’ Amber said.
‘She told me a few things about what to look for, like your pupils get really dilated. She starts talking a lot. Her palms also get really sweaty,’ Gary said.
Ron asked how it made him feel.
‘I think I go into, you know, the protector mode. This is something that she’s used to dealing with by herself, and I can’t imagine dealing with something like that by yourself,’ Gary said.
Amber said that Gary was a ground force for her.
‘But I don’t want it to be too much for him. I don’t want it to be a burden on anybody,’ Amber said.

‘One of the important things for you both as a couple is that you need to take care of yourselves, so you can take care of each other,’ Ron told them.
‘Yeah, that is something I do need to get better at. This has definitely helped, though, for sure. Finding somebody that I actually, truly love, it’s like, that’s what I’ve wanted. And we’re both, you know, all in,’ Gary said.
‘I love you,’ Amber whispered.

Amber earlier this month reported Gary missing, but he was found five days later and they have since called off their engagement, according to Us Weekly.
