Teddi Mellencamp was pictured spending time with her horse trainer Simon Schroeder on Saturaday, amid their affair scandal, as they attended her daughter’s equestrian competition.
The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 43, and Schroeder watched on as Teddi’s daughter Slate, 12, competed in Thermal, California.
The proud mom — whose affair with the married horse trainer was reportedly the catalyst behind her divorce — was seen snapping photos as she stood near Simon, who was leaning on the arena fence.
The reality TV star wore a head-to-toe Alo ensemble with a brown fedora hat for the occasion.
Teddi announced her split from husband Edwin Arroyave after 13 years of marriage in November. The former couple share three children: Slate, 12, son Cruz, 10, and daughter Dove, four.
After DailyMail.com revealed that Mellencamp and her then-married trainer had an affair, the drama then took another twist when it emerged that Schroeder’s then-wife Karli Postel filed to nullify their marriage in 2023 because he was legally married to someone else.

While at the event on Saturday, Teddi’s eyes were shielded with a pair of sunglasses, and her blonde hair cascaded from underneath her hat.
Meanwhile Simon sported a white Under Armour hoodie, black sweatpants and white sneakers.
The German-born trainer finalized his look with a dark baseball hat.
At one point he was pictured flashing a bright smile in Teddi’s direction, as she proudly documented her daughter on her camera.
Both of them also shared Instagram Stories and videos of Slate from the event.
One image saw Slate on her horse, Catniss, with with Teddi captioning the photo: ‘First time doing 3’6 jr’s for both Catniss and [Slate]. 3 wins [red heart emoji].’
Another video saw Slate and Catniss in the middle of the competition, with Teddi proudly informing her followers that her daughter won ‘4 of the 5 classes in 3’6 junior hunters.’
She also tagged Simon in the video.

On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, Teddi took to Instagram on Sunday to share a defiant message amid the scandal surrounding the affair, claiming she has found peace with her past wrongdoings.
The star opened up about her personal journey.
‘The only person who can change your life is you,’ Mellencamp wrote alongside a video of herself working out.
‘We have two options: pretend to be a victim or stand up and fight for yourself. We all deserve peace and happiness,’ she continued.
‘I have cried and mourned. I have taken accountability and apologized for things I have done wrong. Now, I have given myself permission to grow and thrive.’
She concluded, ‘There are three sides to every story. How can I stand up and show up for the people that do matter? This is called being an adult. This is what saying it with my full chest means.’
She also publicly addressed the headlines on her podcast Two Ts in a Pod with Tamra Judge.
‘What I can say, which I’m trying very… there’s multiple sides to every story,’ she stated. ‘I’m sure everyone has seen everything all over the World Wide Web,’ Teddi added.

On the Saturday before Thanksgiving, Teddi took to Instagram on Sunday to share a defiant message amid the scandal surrounding the affair, claiming she has found peace with her past wrongdoings
On November 2, she released a statement on Instagram revealing she and Arroyave had split
Mellencamp was measured in her words when speaking on the sensitive topic. ‘I’m not going to confirm or deny anything,’ the accountability coach said, adding cryptically that ‘there’s many people involved’ in her current situation.
Mellencamp, whose father is singer-songwriter John Cougar Mellencamp, 73, said she felt she needed to say something in regards to the affair issue to keep things ‘moving along’ on the podcast.
Mellencamp and Schroeder allegedly cheated for months amid their respective marriages, and during a timeframe his wife Karli Postel had been expecting – and delivered – their second child, a source told Dailymail.com.
Schroeder, who specializes in horse jumping, had been training Mellencamp’s horse Totally, nicknamed ‘Toad.’
‘Karli thought it was suspicious that her husband was in Florida when she was giving birth’ in California, the insider said.
Postel eventually ‘found text messages on Simon’s phone that exposed the affair,’ the insider said, and ‘confronted Simon and Teddi about it and they confessed,’ with Teddi vowing to her ‘it would not happen again.’
Postel initially ‘didn’t tell’ Arroyave about his spouse’s extramarital affair, and ‘was willing to give Simon another chance and stayed with him,’ the insider said.
Things reached a boiling point in October when Postel ‘found proof’ that the affair was ongoing and that it had become ’emotional.’
‘Simon had a history of cheating and Karli was tired of being connected to him. Edwin only learned of the affair late last month when Karli told him.’
Mellencamp’s timing in filing for divorce at the beginning of the month was a tactical move to stay ahead of the split and control the narrative, according to the source.
‘She filed for divorce from Edwin so that he did not have the chance to file and get her for adultery,’ the source said. ‘It has been alleged that the marriage ended because Edwin cheated on Teddi, but it is actually the other way around.’

Mellencamp said that she and Arroyave had split after a 13-year marriage a day after she filed divorce documents, listing October 20 as their separation date and irreconcilable differences as the cause.
She said via a November 2 Instagram statement, ‘After a great deal of care and consideration, I have made the difficult decision to file for divorce. My priority is my children and ensuring that every care is taken with their privacy and wellbeing throughout this new chapter.’
The star added that she did not want to make ‘a public statement’ on the issue, but ‘felt being open, honest, and vulnerable is the best path forward’ to ‘protect [her] family from undue speculation and rumors.’
Mellencamp shot to fame after joining The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2017, and remained on the show for three seasons as a full time cast member before getting the axe.
Since then, she has starred on Celebrity Big Brother and Name That Tune, and hosts the successful Real Housewives podcast Two Ts in a Pod with Tamra Judge.
