Taylor Swift is showing no signs of slowing down despite calls for her to ‘go away’ after releasing nine new albums in five years.
The performer, 36, teased her next album during the final moments of her Disney+ docuseries, The End of an Era.
The last scene of the series sees text flashing across the screen to fill viewers in on Swift’s various achievements since wrapping up The Eras Tour.
The last frame reads: ‘On October 3, 2025, Taylor released her 12th studio album “The Life of a Showgirl”.
‘The biggest album of her career,’ it continues, before cryptically adding: ‘To date’.
Taylor Swift has teased the release of even more new music despite calls for her to ‘go away’ after becoming overexposed
Swift’s fanbase has interpreted this as one of the star’s signature Easter eggs and as the first official tease of her next album.
The singer hasn’t slowed down in recent years, which has sparked criticism from some critics that she’s become ‘overexposed’.
In the last five years alone, Swift has released five studio albums along with re-recordings of four of her past studio albums, making for a total of nine new albums in the short timeframe.
She also released two live albums and embarked on her record-breaking Eras world tour, which saw her perform 149 shows across the globe.Â
October’s The Life of a Showgirl polarized fans and critics alike, becoming one of the worst reviewed albums of her career.
However, Swift made it unmistakably clear she has no plans to retreat from the spotlight or slow down her career as she delivered a cool, four-word answer to her haters earlier this month.
During an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the superstar issued an icy retort while reflecting on criticism that she makes too much music.
‘I think there are certain corners of our society that really love that and look up to longevity,’ Swift noted.

‘And there are also corners that are like, “Give someone else a turn! Can’t you just go away so we can talk about how good you were?”‘Â
To which, she shrugged and explained: ‘I don’t want to!’
Swift went on to reveal that she leans on her tight inner circle, which includes her fiancé Travis Kelce and Fleetwood Mac legend Stevie Nicks.
‘I can talk to him about any of this,’ she said of the NFL star, adding that she still feels stunned by the milestones she’s hitting this era.Â
‘Getting engaged to the love of my life, getting all my music back – both of those things could have just never arrived in my life. And I’m so grateful.’Â
In October, Swift doubled down on her commitment to her career and her future output during a separate interview this fall, when she clapped back at the ‘shockingly offensive’ rumor that her 12th studio album, The Life Of A Showgirl, was secretly her last.
Speaking to Scott Mills on Radio 2 in October, shortly after announcing her engagement to Kelce, Swift dismissed the viral claim outright.Â

‘No, this isn’t my last album, that is shockingly offensive. I’m not getting married to quit my job,’ she said.
She explained that Kelce’s enthusiasm for her work only strengthens her desire to keep creating.
‘I love the person I am with him because he loves what I do and he loves how much I am fulfilled by making art and making music,’ she told Mills. ‘That’s the coolest thing about Travis… me being passionate about what I do, it connects us.’
While comparing their careers, one onstage, one on the field, Swift pointed out that they both perform grueling, hours-long shows in NFL stadiums.
‘When I do them it’s a dressing room and when he does it it’s a locker room. For him it’s practice and for me it’s rehearsal and we both have teams and we are both competitive.’
