TAYLOR SWIFT has broken her silence on having two relationships end amid the frenzy of her record-breaking Eras Tour.
The superstar said she felt like those around her saw her as a money-making machine as she hit rock bottom following her split from actor Joe Alwyn after six years, and had a brief romance with The 1975’s Matty Healy.
Now, Taylor has revealed she struggled to see the point of her life — even genuinely believing “there is no one in the world for me” — despite being a glamorous, billionaire pop star.
On episode four of Disney+ series The End Of An Era, Taylor said: “The Tortured Poets album is a purge of everything I felt bad about for two years.
“It was a really rough time in my life, so the songs reflected that.
“I was feeling like I am not a person.
“I am just this big conglomerate no one sees as a real human being, especially not men I date.
“There is no one in the world for me.”
Weeks before kicking off The Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona, in March 2023, Taylor split from Joe.
She then had a turbulent, two-month fling with Matty, which spectacularly crashed and burned when he apparently ghosted her.
The singer said: “There were points in this tour where the tour was really the only thing keeping me going in my life.
“But there were never points in the tour where I thought, ‘Oh, you know what? I want to quit the tour as the tour is hard’. No. My personal life was hard.
“I went through two break-ups on the first half of this tour . . . and that’s a lot of break-ups.
“The show is what gave me purpose and what I could use to get me out of bed, so the tour has never been the hard thing in my life.
“The tour has been the thing that has allowed me to find purpose outside of what was going wrong in my life.
“Men will let you down. The Eras Tour never will.”
The trek was Taylor’s sixth and she says that she has always found it almost impossible to maintain a relationship while being on the road.
The Fate Of Ophelia singer said: “Relationships on tour is something I have always really struggled with.
“It always felt like the tour was taking away from the relationship.
“Somehow, I was not able to do both, and feel like I was nurturing both at the same time, even though I would try and try.”
Taylor said it’s one of the main reasons that she and her now fiance, American football player Travis Kelce, work, because they understand the impact of each other’s careers on their personal lives.
The pair have been dating since July 2023 and got engaged in August.
Taylor said: “Somehow, there’s been this dynamic shift with Travis because it’s shocking how many similarities we have towards our jobs and how we view them and how we view each other.
“We both have jobs where we go out in NFL stadiums and we entertain people for three and a half hours.
“His with considerably more violence than mine.
“He’s not in heels, but it’s our passion.
“We have been chasing this since we were little kids.
“I have realised that with this person in my life, it just was the right fit for me.
“You can have the two passions co-exist.
“And they actually fuel each other.
“Ultimately, we love cheering each other on.”
Travis instantly went down well with Taylor’s family, as the Look What You Made Me Do singer’s mum Andrea realised he is also close to his own mum, Donna.
Gushing over the fact he used a friendship bracelet, popular with Tay’s fans, with his number on it in a bid to woo her daughter, Andrea said: “It was just so earnest.
“I thought it was the sweetest thing he came to your show, he brought you something from your world. I liked it.”
