Taylor Swift opened up about her decision to keep extending her record-breaking Eras Tour ahead of her final show at BC Place in Vancouver, Canada on Saturday.
One day before preparing to wrap her 21 month tour the pop star, 34, thanked her beloved fans for making this such a ‘wonderful experience.’
Speaking to the crowd, she said: ‘This is the most fun, joyful, exciting, intense, powerful and wonderful tour I have ever done, and that’s all because of the way that you have treated it.’

Keeping on: Taylor Swift has revealed why she continually extended her Eras Tour
Taylor continued: ‘There’s a reason why this is my longest tour I’ve ever done. I’ve never played this many shows on a tour before, and it’s just cause I really never wanted it to end, because you guys have made it into such a wonderful experience for all of us on stage.’
The singer praised Swifties for creating their own unique ‘traditions’ including making and trading friendship bracelets.
She said: ‘I wrote one line in a song that mentions “make the friendship bracelets,” and I show up to the first show of the Eras Tour, and you guys made friendship bracelets, you’re trading friendship bracelets, you’re making friends, and now I feel like, friendship bracelets, you’ve kinda made that idea synonymous with the Eras Tour.
‘That’s a pretty wild thing you can do – and that’s just one of the things.’

Taking a moment: Taylor Swift thanked fans during her final performance for making the Eras Tour so memorable
Earlier in the show, she reflected on how much the tour has meant to her.
Taylor said: ‘This tour has taken up three years of my life, when you think about the planning of it and then the rehearsals and then being on this tour for a year and eight months.
‘I just keep thinking when I look at this crowd how incredibly happy and grateful and fortunate we are to get to spend our last weekend here in Vancouver.’

End of an Era: The singer concluded the tour last night in Canada
Earlier this week, a source told Us Weekly that the performer plans to take a break to focus on relaxing and spending time with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
The insider said: ‘She’s told her team to give her one year.’
Another source said: ‘Taylor plans to stay in and hibernate for a while. They [Taylor and Travis] want to do ‘normal things’ as a couple.
‘Taylor’s exhausted. She’s excited for some relaxation and downtime.’
The first source added that the singer is planning to enjoy a quiet Christmas with family.
And said she won’t start thinking about recording another album until 2025

Time out: Insiders have said that Taylor will now take some time off to rest
The insider noted that Taylor does want to tour again, but it won’t be for a while, and it is likely to be smaller than The Eras Tour.
The singer played 149 shows across five continents and has spoken about being emotional regarding the conclusion of the tour.
On Instagram, she wrote: ‘Our 6 shows in Toronto were so incredible. It was awesome to play in Canada after so much time. As always, the fans in Toronto treated us like it was a hometown show.
‘Couldn’t have asked for more love or generosity from the people who came out. See you, Vancouver. We can’t wait to give you all we’ve got for three more shows.’

Other priorities: The singer is said to want to use her downtime to be with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce
