Taylor Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl, may have leaked just hours before its official release.
On Tuesday, Swifties lit up social media overnight with posts claiming the tracks had surfaced on Discord and other platforms in low quality audio, but enough to get listeners buzzing.
One ecstatic fan raved: ‘It is AMAZING!!! Even though it has Max Martin, the production and melodies are similar to Lover, rather than 1989. It’s so catchy and easy to listen to!! The Fate Of Ophelia is a great lead track!!!’
Another declared: ‘Even with bad quality this is Taylor Swift’s best pop album.’
‘Travis [Kelce] was absolutely right when he said that Fate of Ophelia is the best song in The Life of a Showgirl,’ one user insisted. ‘Believe me, it’s a banger!!’
A number of excited X users also singled out the unreleased track CANCELLED! as one of the top tracks.

‘Oh I hope this is real!’ one Swiftie wrote. ‘It sounds like a great bridge.’
But not everyone was convinced, with some critics speculating the supposed leak sounded AI-generated. Â
One unimpressed listener even asked: ‘Why doesn’t she know how to write a normal f**ng pop song anymore?’
While some are scrambling to hear what many are predicting to be Swift’s next pop masterpiece, her most loyal fans are practicing restraint.
One pleaded: ‘Max Martin didn’t spend hours in the studio perfecting Showgirl for y’all to be listening to the lowest quality Discord leaks. Like, have some decency, and respect for art.’
The Daily Mail has reached out to Swift’s representatives for comment, but have not heard back, at this time.Â
Neither Swift nor her team have commented on whether the alleged leaks are authentic.
Amid her record-breaking Eras Tour last year, the Daily Mail previously reported that Swift was already writing new material barely two months after the release of TTPD.Â

The source teased that the record is ‘absolutely inspired by Travis’ and ‘being loved by him has really helped her overcome some dark chapters in her life.’Â
The Life of a Showgirl will be available on streaming platforms at 12 a.m. on October 3.
Last month, Swift announced she was having a theatrical release party to celebrate her record, which will play across 540 AMC theaters for one weekend from October 3 through October 5.

Swift’s theatrical release party is expected to rake in around $30-$50 million, per Deadline – and presale ticket sales reached $15 million over the span of 24 hours since the event’s announcement.Â
Ticket prices sit at $12 – which was decided by the award-winning performer herself.
The special theatrical release is slated to be 89 minutes long and will include the music video premiere of the track The Fate Of Ophelia.
Swift also sat down to open up about the songs on the album which will be shown as well as lyric videos.
‘I hereby invite you to a *dazzling* soirée, The Official Release Party of a Showgirl: Oct 3 – Oct 5 only in cinemas!’ Swift penned on her main Instagram page last month.
