And while talking to Glamour following his statement, Swift stated that it was 'presumptuous' of the singer to 'assume' that the track had been written about him. 

'I never disclose who my songs are about,' she further explained to the outlet that same year. 

While Swift and Mayer avoided an awkward encounter at the McCartney concert over the weekend - it appeared that her fiance Kelce was nowhere to be seen.
