It comes after MailOnline exclusively revealed that Tasha is in a new romance with a CBBC presenter.

The former Love Islander fell victim to the Strictly curse in January, splitting from long-term partner Andrew Le Page, 30, just weeks after she finished runner-up on the show.Ā

But now, four months after their breakup, Tasha has moved on with YouTuber Cam Whitnall, 29, who stars in CBBC series One Zoo Three and BBC show OZT Goes Wild alongside his brothers Ty and Aaron.

Cam, whose family run Hertfordshire Zoo, is the managing director of a non-profit charity, The Big Cat Sanctuary, which rescues wild cats and protects species at risk of extinction.

The influencer boasts an enormous following on both YouTube and TikTok thanks to his insightful videos showing a range of animals in their natural habitats.

MailOnline understands the new couple have bonded over their love for animals after Tasha rescued her dog, Luna, who she previously shared with Andrew, from Spanish charity Alora Dog Rescue and Homeward Bound.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Tasha and Cam are in the early stages of dating.

‘They have been seeing each other for around a month now and share so much in common, from a personal and professional standpoint.

‘Cam is a great guy and has a lot going for him, Tasha has definitely been thrilled getting to know him and the feeling is mutual.’

Tasha has been single since January when she joined dating app Raya shortly after her split from Andrew, who she had been in a relationship with for over two years.

The couple met on Love Island in 2022 and went onto purchase a house together which they were renovating before going their separate ways.

In recent months, Andrew, who works in property, has relocated to Dubai where he lived prior to finding fame on the ITV2 dating series.

Following their breakup, Tasha said: ‘It was hard at first and obviously everyone has opinions. People were messaging me what’s happened? Love Island is public, and the fans are so invested in the relationship, but no one will ever know what really happened behind closed doors.

‘It wasn’t a bad thing, we’re still friends now, we’re both on such good mutual ground, I have respect for him, and he has respect for me… it’s just people grow apart and that’s just what happened. I wasn’t happy anymore I had to put myself first and think am I going to be happy in ten years’ time.’

MailOnline has contacted Tasha and Cam’s spokespeople for comment.Ā

Tasha, who was born deaf and had a cochlear implant fitted aged five, made history after becoming the first contestant with a disability to star on Love Island.

Speaking about how she wanted to inspire the deaf community by appearing in the villa, Tasha told Olivia Attwood’s podcast So Wrong It’s Right: ‘I wanted to show people you can find love and confidence and be who you want to be, you can flirt even though you have a disability, representation is so important.’Ā

During her stint on Love Island, Tasha’s father was forced to speak out against hateful trolls, who were unkind about the dancer’s speaking voice as she appeared on the programme.Ā

Last month, the star published her book Your Superpower, where she delves into her experiences growing up with a disability, which saw her subjected to cruel bullying and suffer from low self-esteem.Ā

On wearing a cochlear implant, Tasha said: ‘It’s about embracing it and enjoying the beauty of it. When I was younger, I used to wear my hair down and not even show it but now I love it, it’s a part of me which is unique and special, there’s nothing bad about it.’Ā

She competed on last year’s Strictly with professional dancer Aljaž Å korjanec, narrowly missing out on the trophy to blind comedian Chris McCausland.

Tasha, who has a dance background, said being part of the Strictly cast alongside fellow contestants TOWIE’s Pete Wicks and EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick was a dream come true.

She was in the midst of performing on the Strictly tour when her breakup from Andrew was revealed.

The model said she regretted signing up to celebrity dating app Raya so soon after the couple’s split, admitting it was a ‘silly mistake.’Ā Ā

In an interview with The Sun, she said:Ā ‘I think at the time, I made a silly mistake. I did it way too soon. It was just a heat-of-the-moment kind of situation. Everyone makes mistakes. And in that situation, I did and I own up to that.

‘Unfortunately, that’s something I just have to put my hands up and say: ‘Tasha, it was way too soon.’ It is what it is. I can’t turn back time, but I’ve learned from that.’Ā
