The Voice Australia winner Tarryn Stokes has revealed she’s already spending her prize money from the show.
The 40-year-old, who took home $100,000 last month after being declared the winner by a viewer poll, told Yahoo Australia what she’s been spending the cash on.
‘I bought Nike shoes, I bought some socks for my children, and we’re gonna buy a trampoline for the backyard,’ said the mother-of-two.
She also said she was going to go on holiday and pay her mortgage with the windfall.
Stokes admitted she was overwhelmed by public support since her win and was still pinching herself after beating all 47 other top artists to take the big prize.

‘I can’t believe people like what I do,’ she gushed.
Tarryn’s comments come after The Voice Australia winner told Daily Mail Australia exclusively she hasn’t heard anything from her on-screen mentor Rita Ora for months.
Stokes, who was crowned winner of the reality show in October, claimed the pair exchanged several e-mails in June, but alleged they have not been in contact since.
‘Not a lot [of contact with Rita], but she gave me her e-mail, so we were emailing back and forth,’ she said.
However, it appears this digital correspondence was short-lived as Tarryn claims she hasn’t heard from her since.
In a heartwarming gesture during the finale, Ora gifted Stokes a book about artists and the creative process, adorned with inspiring quotes and sayings.

‘It was an inspirational book, really encouraging,’ Stokes said.
‘I felt really blessed that she gave me a present, so I’m looking into that.’
Despite the lack of contact with Ora, the singer remains optimistic.
‘Not a lot [of contact with Rita], but she gave me her e-mail, so we were emailing back and forth,’ the mother-of-two, 40, explained
‘I might email her again soon and see if she wants to say “hi”,’ she said.
Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Ora’s management for comment.
This isn’t the first time the singer has been accused of cutting ties with past winners.
Last year Lachie Gill admitted he had similar experiences with the British hitmaker.

Speaking to The Herald Sun, Lachie said Rita ‘flew back to LA the day after the show finished’ and has been busy ever since.
‘I am going to be completely honest with you, I have not spoken to her since the show which maybe is a bit sad for everyone, but also I totally understand that she is one busy woman,’ the footy player-turned-music artist said.
‘She flew back to LA the day after the show finished and obviously would have a lot going on.
‘I have not really bothered to try and reach out and contact her because I sort of know that she would have a pretty busy schedule.’
