Tammy Hembrow Preps for Scuba Diving, While Bailey Smith Suits Up for Brownlow – Fans React to Her Absence

Tammy Hembrow tackled a new activity on Monday, just hours before her rumoured love interest Bailey Smith attended the Brownlow Medal.

The fitness influencer, 31, revealed on Instagram she was learning how to scuba dive despite rumours she would be attending the AFL’s night of nights on the arm of the footy star.

Tammy shared a photo of the medical questionnaire form she was required to fill out attend of her lesson.

‘Ya girl is getting scuba certified catch me in the ocean for the rest of my life x,’ she wrote.

Fans took to social media to express their disappoint after her rumoured boyfriend Bailey attended the Brownlow medal count on Monday solo.

‘I’m so mad at him,’ one person wrote while another said: ‘She’s too busy scuba diving.’

‘She was never going with that loser,’ a third wrote while another simply added: ‘Disappointing.’

Bailey suited up for the occasion in an all-black ensemble, looking dapper in a tuxedo and bow-tie.

He wore his signature blonde locks in a messy style across his shoulders and completed the look with a pair of cool ‘speed dealer’ style sunglasses.

The award’s night came just hours after Bailey broke his silence on his romance with the Gold Coast content creator during an interview with KIIS FM’s Kyle & Jackie O Show on Monday.

He confirmed the pair are ‘just friends’ and revealed Tammy wouldn’t be accompanying him to the Brownlow Medal count, despite weeks of speculation.

‘What’s going on [with you and Tammy]? Are you taking Tammy tonight or not?’ host Kyle Sandilands asked.

Bailey responded: ‘No, I’m not. No. I didn’t want to bore her with footy all night. She’s not a big footy fan. And we’re just mates.’

‘So, you guys aren’t exclusive or boyfriend and girlfriend?’ co-host Jackie Henderson questioned.

Bailey confirmed: ‘No, we’re just mates.’

The AFL star then revealed he was taking his jiu-jitsu instructor to the annual awards night.

‘I’m taking my jiu-jitsu coach. He’s a good man. He’s one of my best mates. And he’ll be blind all night. Yeah, he’s having a big one,’ he said.

Shortly after Bailey’s interview, Tammy shared a busty selfie to Instagram, which showed her flaunting her assets in a skimpy bikini.

It was a big night for Bailey, who is in the running for the most coveted award of the evening thanks to the immediate impact he made in his first season at Kardinia Park.

But Matt Rowell claimed the surprise victory on Monday night.

The 24-year-old, who admitted that he was ‘speechless’ on acceptance of his award, stunned other hopefuls Nick Daicos, Bailey and Jordan Dawson, by finishing on top of the voting race with a whopping 39 votes.
