A once grand stone mansion on Sydney’s north shore made famous by TikTokers as a ‘haunted house’ has hit the market for a whopping $10million.
Located in Mosman, the 80-year-old waterside property is in an advanced state of disrepair after it was abandoned over twenty years ago.
Now heritage listed, it was originally built as a two-storey, five-bedroom, three-bathroom home, which was surrounded by splendid gardens with direct access to the harbour.
However, The Daily Telegraph reports that a development application has been approved for the site which has potential buyers in a frenzy.
The home was last sold in 2015 for $6.6million to Edward Wei, a Chinese national and architecture student who submitted the new DA for the site.

According to the report the DA has attracted 97 buyer enquiries in 24 hours.
The plans are ‘sympathetic’ to the original home and allow a four-storey dwelling to be constructed from the foundations of the original mansion which was built in 1939.
Features outlined in the proposal include plans for a four-bedroom home, with interior elevator.

Highlights include a top-floor terrace, which will offer owners a superb view of Sydney’s famed harbour.
Meanwhile, the DA also calls for an entire level to be dedicated as the ‘main living area’.
A lower level will serve, meanwhile, as an ‘entertainment deck’, with gym, rumpus room, a billiard room and an adjoining pool with terrace.
Once described as a ‘grandeur masterpiece’ what remains of the original mansion, called Morella, is now covered in graffiti with smashed windows, scattered debris and a crumbling interior.

Mr Parer is now dead.
The former prized home was built by his wealthy parents Leonardo and Helena Parer who lived there with Antony, and their two daughters Marianna and Sarita.
‘Morella’ went on to grace the pages of the April 1943 issue of Australian Home Beautiful magazine in a six page spread.
After it was revealed the mansion was abandoned, social media users began creating videos of the site including the Drive Locations AU TikTok, which had over 90,000 followers.
Meanwhile, a video created eight years ago by You Tuber Abandoned Oz and based on the site has attracted 88K views.
