Sydney Sweeney Flaunts Cleavage at Christy Panel After Tearful Premiere

Sydney Sweeney was a busty bombshell as she flaunted her cleavage during a panel discussion for her upcoming film Christy during the Toronto International Film Festival over the weekend.

It comes just one day after the 27-year-old actress broke down in tears at the screening of the biographical sports drama as she praised boxer Christy Martin – whom Sweeney portrayed on the big screen.

The star was recently been embroiled in controversy over her American Eagle jeans/genes campaign while rumors have swirled that she is dating Scooter Braun – whom Taylor Swift notably feuded with over the masters to her music.

Sweeney had the chance to further discuss her new movie alongside other cast members and director David Michôd on Saturday at the Variety Studio.

The blonde beauty wowed wearing a gray cropped blazer with a deep plunging neckline on the front.

She additionally slipped into a pair of matching trousers and showed off her toned figure with sheer corset details around her midriff.

Sweeney’s long blonde locks were parted in the middle and effortlessly flowed down past her shoulders in elegant waves. 

The actress opted for minimal accessories to allow the outfit to be the main focal point and added a pair of mini silver earrings. 

A warm blush was added to better accentuate her cheekbones while a nude-colored matte tint was worn on her lips for a finishing touch. 

During the discussion with Variety, Sweeney opened up about how she prepared to portray boxer Christy Martin in the movie. 

In regards to how she bulked up for the role, the actress explained that her diet would include milkshakes and Smuckers. 

‘I had a nutritionist work with me as well as a weight trainer and a boxing trainer,’ The White Lotus star shared. 

‘We upped my calorie intake and I started taking a lot of protein shakes and supplements and eating everything.’

Sweeney then revealed, ‘I ate a lot of Smuckers, a lot of PB and J sandwiches, milkshakes, kind of just constantly always eating because we were so active. 

‘I was constantly burning it all off at the same time. So keeping it all up was quite a challenge.’ 

Christy was directed by David Michôd and the cast also includes Ben Foster, Merritt Weaver, Katy O’Brian, Ethan Embry, Chad L. Coleman and Tony Cavalero. 

The biographical feature is slated to hit theaters later this year on November 7. 

And on Friday, Sweeney fought back tears after the screening of Christy at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Wearing an Erdem blush-colored corset gown, Sweeney wept openly as she praised boxer Christy Martin, whom she portrayed on the big screen. 

‘Christy, you are absolutely incredible, and I’m so honored. I’m gonna cry! Oh my God, you’re so inspirational,’ she said the to former welterweight champion.

‘And so being able to have her by my side during this process was a dream, but then also just scary too, because you’re like, “Oh my gosh. Like, we’re, we’re doing this in front of her!”‘

‘And I wasn’t quite sure. I mean, she’s the greatest boxer in the entire world, and I’m having to do hooks and hits, and I’m like, I hope and do this, right?’ per Variety.

‘She wasn’t the beautiful, sexy Sydney. She was the tough, rugged Christy,’ Martin said of the actress’ portrayal. 

Sweeney explained the dedication she brought to the role, revealing, ‘I trained for two, three months before [shooting]. 

‘I had boxing coach, I had weight trainers, I had nutritionists. I trained three times a day, every day, and then while I was filming, I trained as well.’ 

The petite star bulked up by drinking ‘a lot of milk shakes, a lot of protein shakes.’

She said it was ‘incredible being able to completely embody such a powerful woman. I felt even stronger. It was truly inspiring.’

The great reception is a win for the Euphoria star, who has been plagued by controversy since the release of the Sydney Sweeney has good genes/jeans campaign was launched by American Eagle in late July.

Some critics claimed the ads featuring the blue-eyed blonde was a throwback to eugenics, a discredited scientific theory popular among white supremacists.

Sweeney, who broke up with her fiancé Jonathan Davino in March, has reportedly embarked on a ‘casual romance’ with Scooter Braun, whom Taylor Swift feuded with over her music masters for years. 

People reported Sweeney and Braun spent Labor Day weekend together at Lake Tahoe.

And in a sort of full circle moment, Swift’s fiancé, Travis Kelce, released his own collaboration with American Eagle one day after the couple announced their engagement.

Sweeney’s two most recent film, Americana and Eden have not fared well at the box office, but it doesn’t seem to be because she is in them, but rather because the movies have received lackluster reviews from critics and audiences.
