Sydney Sweeney and Taylor Swift’s foe Scooter Braun ‘Casually Dating’ After Bezos Wedding Rumors

Sydney Sweeney is reportedly dating Taylor Swift’s enemy Scooter Braun.

The Euphoria star, 27, and the music mogul, 44 — who is 17 years her senior — have been ‘on multiple dates’ but their romance is ‘casual’ as the moment, according to TMZ.

‘Sydney has just ended a relationship and she’s doing what women in their 20’s do – she’s dating,’ a source told the publication.

Dating rumors between the blonde bombshell and Justin Bieber’s ex-manager first began a couple of months ago, when the two were seen together in Venice, Italy, at the June wedding of Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.

They reportedly met at the wedding, but it’s unclear when they started dating.

DailyMail.com has contacted representatives for both Sweeney and Braun. Braun’s representatives declined to comment.

Sydney was previously engaged to businessman Jonathan Davino, 42, but the two split in January.

Scooter was previously married to Yael Cohen for about seven years. They have three children together and finalized their divorce in September 2022.

A source also told Page Six Braun has been ‘pursuing’ Sweeney since meeting her at the wedding, though it’s not apparent how ‘serious’ she is about him.

‘It’s still new,’ the insider added, clarifying that it has become more serious than a casual hookup.

The actress and the record executive were pictured strolling together in Venice in a video taken by a TikToker back in June.

It comes months after Sweeney faced criticism over her partnership with American Eagle, which ignited a political firestorm online.

Earlier this summer, Sweeney was placed in the center of a fierce debate about race, marketing, and accountability after becoming the face of American Eagle’s fall denim campaign.

Consumers were divided over the ad’s tagline, ‘Sydney Sweeney has great jeans’ – a deliberate play on the phrase ‘great genes.’

One viral clip shows Sweeney standing in front of a poster reading ‘Sydney Sweeney has great genes,’ with the word ‘genes’ crossed out and replaced with ‘jeans.’

Another video includes Sweeney saying, ‘Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color,’ as the camera pans to her blue eyes, then she adds, ‘My jeans are blue.’

While the campaign’s clever wordplay was intended to be playful and bold, it ignited accusations on social media platforms of promoting racial undertones, eugenics, and white supremacy – largely due to the focus on genetics alongside Sweeney’s blue-eyed image.

American Eagle responded to the backlash in August, stating: ‘Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans’ is and always was about the jeans.’

‘Her jeans. Her story,’ the company insisted in their statement. ‘We’ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.’

Sweeney has not publicly commented on the controversy.
