‘You will never really know with Charlie and Ellie,’ the insider said.
‘They kind of have a co-dependent relationship so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were living with one another but not technically back together.’

The move caused scandal in the tight-knit eastern suburbs, particularly since Hollie was not only Ellie’s best friend, but married to Charlie’s business partner Christopher.
‘The truth is that despite the support of friends and family I have not coped well with the deeply hurtful lies, gossip and innuendo that has surrounded the breakdown of my relationship,’ Ellie said in a statement in December that year.
At the time, she announced she would be ‘taking a break from social media’ and public view while she and her family adjusted to the separation and her estranged husband’s new relationship.
In May 2022, Daily Mail Australia confirmed Hollie and Charlie had quietly parted ways, noting the public pressure was too much for them to bear.
