A shocking twist has emerged in the feud between podcasters Domenica Calarco and Abbie Chatfield, after Abbie publicly called Dom a ‘fake feminist’.
Resurfaced video of Calarco, 30, has revealed the Married At First Sight alum vigorously defended Chatfield in her battle with another reality TV star back in 2022.
Chatfield, 28, had accused Brittany Hockley, 36, who was a fill-in host on The Kyle and Jackie O Show at the time, of ‘slut-shaming’ her during a conversation with rapper Yung Gravy about Abbie’s sex life.
At the time, Calarco had sided with Chatfield, saying: ‘I think it is valid that Abbie is p**sed off about this. I also am really disappointed. Really annoys me, something I think is a load of bulls**t is women not having each other’s backs.
‘I’m sick of people in the media being all like, “Women support women! We love talking about women, we love supporting women”, but then going and doing that.’

Domenica then went further, claiming Brittany ‘triggered’ her personally and said that Abbie’s fury was ‘completely valid.’
The incident occurred during an interview with Yung Gravy on The Kyle and Jackie O Show in November 2022, with Hockley filling in for an absent Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
Kyle and Brittany made the comments in question after the American rapper, whose real name is Matthew Raymond Hauri, confirmed that he went on a date with Abbie.
After the musician said they’d made plans to meet again, Kyle responded: ‘You and everyone else. Line up, my friend, line up!’
When Gravy said, ‘I think we’ve got a date planned,’ Brittany remarked: ‘I have no doubt.’
Hockley later walked back her comments and issued a public apology to Chatfield.
Earlier this week, Sit With Us co-hosts Calarco, 30, and Ella Ding interviewed controversial MAFS groom Jack Dunkley on the show. Abbie Chatfield (pictured) unleashed on them, accusing them of misunderstanding feminism by having a light chat with the divisive figure
Last week, Sit With Us co-hosts Calarco and Ella Ding interviewed controversial Married At First Sight groom Jack Dunkley on their show.
Abbie later unleashed on the pair during an episode of It’s A Lot with Abbie Chatfield, accusing them of misunderstanding feminism by having a light-hearted conversation with the divisive figure.
Earlier this week, Calarco candidly opened up about her mental health struggles following criticism from Bachelor star-turned podcaster Chatfield.
Abbie did not hold back when criticising the interview: ‘I didn’t think at this point that they were malicious. I thought they just didn’t understand feminism or patriarchy fully… they had an entry level understanding of feminism.’
A twist has now emerged, in which Calarco had sided with Chatfield in December 2022, after Abbie lashed out at Life Uncut co-host Brittany Hockley (pictured) for similar reasons
Taking to Instagram on Sunday morning, former MAFS bride Calarco shared a concerning post revealing how she was taking time out to visit a mental health retreat.
‘Over the last month, I have been struggling with some deep issues that have left me emotionally, physically and psychologically drained,’ she began.
‘Every day, I am trying to be the strong, independent and bubbly person you all know me to be, but the reality is I am not okay and the recent social media discourse has forced me to realise I am at the end of my tether.’
She continued: ‘As someone who has dealt with mental illness for 15 years, I have come to the realisation that I need to put my health, both physically and mentally, as the number one priority and have decided to enter a mental health retreat.’
The controversy erupted after Domenica and Ella faced criticism for their interview with Jack Dunkley, who previously sparked outrage by telling co-star Jonathan McCullough to ‘muzzle’ his wife Lauren Dunn during a dinner party.
The interview prompted a heated response from Abbie, further intensifying the scrutiny on the podcast hosts.
