When Liam Gallagher touched down in Melbourne for the Oasis ‘Live ’25’ tour, he skipped the usual hotel scene.
Instead, the British rock royalty stayed at an unlikely location – the Mount Martha holiday home of former Bachelor star Sam Wood and his wife Snezana.
The $3.6 million property – just an hour from Melbourne on the Mornington Peninsula – boasts four bedrooms, spacious living areas and a mini basketball court – allowing plenty of room for a rock star to unwind between shows.
It features expansive outdoor entertainment areas, a swimming pool and manicured gardens that make the property feel like a resort.
The Mediterranean-style home is also a stone’s throw away from the beach and local shops, offering custom-designed interiors, a Caribbean Colonial-inspired kitchen, and stunning bay views.
It’s unclear how Liam ended up crossing paths with Sam, and why he chose the beach house over a five-star hotel befitting of an international superstar.

Having farewelled Melbourne earlier this week, Oasis is now preparing to perform their Sydney shows at the Accor Stadium on Friday and Saturday.
Their trip Down Under marks the first time Oasis has toured Australia since 2005.
The band has a huge following in Australia, with two of their albums reaching number one on the ARIA chart and their hit song Wonderwall hitting the top spot in 1996.
Last year, they announced they were reuniting for the first time since 2009 after Noel and Liam finally put their differences aside following a long-standing feud.
For Wood, the high-profile visitor comes amid a storm of his own: he is reportedly under investigation by the ATO for an alleged $7 million unpaid tax debt.
The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has launched civil action against the 44-year-old over allegedly unpaid income tax spanning three years.
Court documents filed in the County Court of Victoria last Monday showed the Deputy Commissioner of Taxation is pursuing Samuel James Wood, for unpaid taxes, reported the Herald Sun.
Interest and penalties had also allegedly not been paid for the 2021-22, 2022-23 and 2023-24 financial years.

The Melbourne-based personal trainer, who shot to fame as the leading man in The Bachelor Australia’s third season, then built a lucrative business empire, is accused of failing to pay income tax by the due dates.
In total, the ATO claims he owes $7,349,264.86 made up of tax, interest, and penalties.
‘The defendant failed to pay income tax for the relevant periods on or before the relevant due dates,’ the Deputy Commissioner’s statement of claim reads.
‘The plaintiff claims the sum of $7,349,264.86 which is due and unpaid.’
The breakdown of the alleged debt includes $4,037,461.14 in missed income tax for the 2021–22 financial year, $102,023.20 for 2022–23, and $3,189,107.76 for 2023–24.
Failure-to-lodge penalties and interest across those periods total just under $8,000, while an additional $12,770.44 is claimed for Division 293 tax on concessional superannuation contributions.
The tax office is also seeking further interest and costs.
The court documents note the legal action will be discontinued if Wood pays the full amount, along with $1,647.40 in legal costs, within the required time.
