Sharing a photo of a positive pregnancy test stick, Jessica revealed she learned she was expecting on February 10 this year.
‘I took a test when I woke up and then ran upstairs and woke [my partner] up,’ she gushed in the caption.
Jessica continued: ‘It wasn’t flashy or filmed, haha.’
She also revealed that the happy couple knew their baby’s gender at 10 weeks after Jessica underwent a noninvasive prenatal test (NIPT).
‘Because I’m technically an ‘elderly’ mother I wanted to screen for chromosomal abnormalities early,’ she explained.
‘Baby’s daddy is Iranian,’ Jessica shared during the fan chat and shared a photo of a bearded man wearing a sports singlet – but she did not identify him.
Elsewhere Jessica confessed that the birthing experience was a challenge.
‘I wish I could say it’s been positive but despite all the effort, nothing went to plan,’ she said answering a question about her postpartum journey.
