Dakota Johnson appeared to be enjoying the holiday season when she stopped by a friend’s place in scenic Malibu on Saturday.
The actress, 34, was spotted just as she left the residence, which is tucked away within the greenery of the region, looking stylish in embroidered black floral pants.
She also donned a black sweater over a matching top, along with chunky black leather boots, and her dark brown locks styled long and straight halfway down her back with her trademark bangs.
The Fifty Shades of Grey star also wore cool dark sunglasses as she carried a lovely purse over her right shoulder.
The daughter of A-list actors Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson finds herself in the aftermath of the promotional phase for the documentary The Disappearance Of Shere Hite, for which the actress serves as narrator and executive producer.

The documentary, which follows the life of American-born German sex educator feminist Shere Hite, premiered at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival last January, but only just debuted on November 17.
Director Nicole Newnham focuses on the renowned sex researcher and author of The Hite Report, the mega-bestseller published in 1976 that ‘liberated the female orgasm by revealing the most private experiences of thousands of anonymous survey respondents,’ according to Deadline.
‘The opportunity to come on board to not only be the voice of, but also support and amplify the stunning work and message of the formidable Shere Hite was a no brainer,’ Johnson said in a statement about the movie. ‘We couldn’t think of a better time for her story to be told.’
Hite, who passed away at the age of 77 in 2020, spent the last decades of her life living in Europe, after having been subjected to relentless attacks by conservatives in the U.S. who were upset by her work that ‘challenged restrictive conceptions of sex and opened a dialogue in popular culture around women’s pleasure.’
During that time, in the wake of each subsequent bestseller, Hite also engaged in explicit debates about sexuality, all while suffering the backlash her controversial findings provoked.
Johnson’s also gearing up for the promotional push for her upcoming superhero film Madame Web, where she plays the title role of Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Webb, alongside such co-stars as Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, Isabela Merced and Tahar Rahim.
The cast also includes the likes of Emma Roberts, Adam Scot, Zosia Mamet and Mike Epps.
The documentary, directed by S. J. Clarkson, who co-wrote the screenplay with Claire Parker, Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless, from a story by Kerem Sanga, Sazama, and Sharpless, is intended to be the fourth film in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe.
