Strictly Come Dancing winner Ellie Leach has revealed she still talks to her professional dance partner Vito Coppola every day.
The pair lifted the coveted glitterball in December and went on to tour to country with the rest of the 2023 line-up.
Ellie has now returned to acting, appearing on stage in the production on Cluedo 2.
Appearing on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday, the former Coronation Street star, 23, revealed she is in contact with Vito, 31, every day – even though their Strictly journey has come to an end.
Ellie also laughed off the idea they were ever more than friends after host Ed Balls said: ‘We all believed there was a love interest?’

‘I think that when you dance with someone you are practically together 24/7 and we are just the best of friends. I am so lucky that I got him as my dance partner. We just really understood each other’ Ellie said.
‘He was even more emotional than me, especially on the final. I was like: “You’ve been spending too much time with me now”.’
Susanna Reid asked: ‘Is it true you speak to Vito every single day?’, to which Ellie replied: ‘Yeah I speak to Vito every single day since September.’
Ellie also revealed she keeps the glitterball in the kitchen of her family home, with her father offering a selfie with it whenever someone comes around.
The actress went public with her romance with EastEnders’ actor Bobby Brazier, 20, earlier this month, which began during the live Strictly tour, and has now moved to London.
Last week, Ellie hit back at trolls asking ‘where is Vito Coppola’ on her social media, amid her blossoming romance with Bobby.
The actress shared a sweet selfie with Bobby after he watched her make her stage debut last week in Cluedo 2 at Richmond Theatre.
But some of Ellie’s fans didn’t appear to support her new romance with Bobby, as several asked ‘where’s vito?’ underneath the Instagram post.

It comes after it was revealed Ellie has ‘moved to London’ amid her blossoming new relationship.
The former Coronation Street actress is living in the capital where Bobby lives with his dad after sparking up a romance during the Strictly Come Dancing live tour.
Ellie’s cousin, actress Brooke Vincent shared she is planning to catch up with her in London during an appearance on This Morning on Thursday.
She said: ‘I’m actually seeing her tonight and she’s moved to London.’
Brooke added: ‘I could never do Strictly since she won, she did amazing. You get bored of saying how proud you are.’
