MailOnline have contacted Strictly representatives regarding Cher’s performance.
Elsewhere Cher has been back in the UK recently after she appeared on The Graham Norton show last Friday.
In the hilarious interview Cher revealed that she is not a fan of her music and barely listens to any of her own songs as she discussed her career with the Irish host.
The music legend appeared on the BBC talk show alongside fellow guests Julia Roberts, Timothee Chalamet and Tom Hanks.
Graham made sure to ask about her Christmas album, which is when she admitted that she isn’t a ‘big Cher fan’ and doesn’t listen to her songs once released.
When asked by the host if she listens to her own music, she said: ‘Not really. I listened to it until I was sure it was right, but I am not a huge Cher fan!’
Cher brought out her first festive album – Christmas – in October this year and has been on a promotional tour across the UK and US.
When asked why she hasn’t done a Christmas album before, she said: ‘I didn’t want to.

‘When I did say yes, I wanted to do it myself in my own house. I picked songs l like, and I hate to say it myself, but it is good!’
As well as bringing out a new album, the singing sensation is also currently writing a biopic about her life.
Cher revealed that picking the lead character for the movie is the ‘hardest thing’ because of how much she has accomplished in her lifetime.
She said: ‘It is the hardest thing. I have lived too long and done so much; it is very hard to cast, and we haven’t even finished the script.’ Adding, ‘I will do all the music myself because I don’t like imitation.’
When chatting about the upcoming film, Graham asked Cher if she was a diva.
The star said: ‘Don’t be ridiculous, I am the least diva-like person. That (behaviour) does not make sense to me.’
