Stranger Things star Joe Keery has set his sights on a Glastonbury slot after his track went viral.
The actor, 31, who is best known for playing Steve Harrington in the science fiction series, has hinted at performing at a big festival such as Coachella or Glastonbury.
His song End of Beginning is now in the top five of the UK singles charts after becoming a big hit with fans on TikTok, two years after its initial release.
Speaking to Radio X’s Dan O’Connell, Joe explained: ‘We played a couple shows here and there, but it’s a big bucket list item for me to kind of fully realise these things I thought up in my bedroom that I really wanted to do visually on a big stage.’
When Dan suggested the UK’s biggest festival could be on the cards in 2025, Joe responded: ‘Oh you’re spoiling me!’

Joe is focusing on other projects as he prepares to say goodbye to Stranger Things.
The Netflix series will end after five seasons, with it presumed that the fifth and final instalment will be filmed now the SAG-AFTRA strikes have ended.
The Massachusetts born star admitted how much gratitude he feels towards Stranger Things, which has given him his ‘whole career.’
Filming first began in November 2015, and Joe described the experience of making the show ‘an amazing ride’ while he branded the crew and his fellow castmates ‘such great people.’
In an interview before the SAG-AFTRA strike, Joe told Women’s Wear Daily: ‘It does feel like it’s time. It won’t be easy for it to end. I mean, I owe my whole career to being on that show and all the opportunities that I had since are because of that show.’
‘So it’s very convoluted. There’s a sense of relief, there’s a sense of sadness. I guess my goal is to just really soak it up as much as I can while we’re doing it, and not take any of it for granted because it’s been an amazing ride with such great people.
‘And then once it’s done, move forward and try to just hold on to the joy that we had when we were making it….Everything has a beginning and the middle and an end. It’ll be nice to have the end of this too.’

Filming for Stranger Things season 5 was meant to begin in June 2023, but was held up by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike.
The producers Matt and Ros tweeted: ‘Duffers here. Writing does not stop when filming begins. While we’re excited to start production with our amazing cast and crew, it is not possible during this strike.
‘We hope a fair deal is reached soon so we can all get back to work. Until then — over and out. #wgastrong.’
That delay to filming will likely mean that any hypothetical release date is pushed back, although none has been set yet. An optimistic expectation for the release would be anytime before 2025.
Before Stranger Things season 4 had even aired, the show’s producers revealed that there would be a fifth season, which would be its last .
Duffer brothers Matt and Ross said in February 2022 that in the story’s inception ‘we predicted the story would last four or five seasons.
‘It proved too large to tell in four, but—as you’ll soon see for yourselves—we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; season 5 will be the last.’

Season 5 promises to tie up the lose ends of a ‘complete story arc,’ after Season 4 ended on the cliffhanger of the real world and The Upside Down merging.
Ross previously revealed on Josh Horowitz’s Happy Sad Confused podcast: ‘For the first time ever, we don’t wrap things up at the end of [season] 4, so it’s going to be moving pretty fast. Characters are already going to be in action.
‘They’re already going to have a goal and a drive, and I think that’s going to carve out at least a couple hours and make this season feel really different.’
