Stephen Merchant towered over his actress girlfriend Mircea Monroe as they cosied up at John Cleese’s surprise party on Wednesday.
The comedian, 50, looked happier than ever as he as he posed alongside Mircea, 43, while the pair celebrated John’s 60 years in showbiz at the Mandarin Oriental in London.
Stephen dressed in a dapper brown suit and a simple black T-shirt, while keeping it casual with a pair of trainers.
Mircea looked stunning in a sequin jacket which she wore over a floor-length dress and sported with a shoulder bag.
She held up a fun cut-out mask of a meerkat as she wore her blonde locks back and sported a pair of black frames which matched Stephen’s.
The Office writer is an impressive six foot and seven inches – over a foot taller than his girlfriend of seven years, who is five foot six.

The pair joined John’s A-List pals as the legendary Monty Python star, 86, was thrown the bash by his fourth wife Jennifer, 53.

The couple live in a £2.4million mansion once owned by former US talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.
Stephen and Mircea met at an awards ceremony seven years ago but Stephen previously revealed that he had had trouble finding a girlfriend because of his height.
He told Alan Carr: ‘If they’re down there and I’m up here, it’s a bit tricky.
But by 2019, Stephen admitted it was great to not have to worry about ‘filling’ such a void in life after he had met the St Louis native.
He said: ‘Aside from the fact that she’s great… there’s something very pleasing about not having the endless concern about filling that part of your life.
‘That’s a very lonely life, the life of a single person’.

Stephen has now officially out-performed some legendary comedians as he rocketed past their staggering fortunes, according to The Sun – topping Ricky Gervais and Peter Kay.
He now holds a whopping £26.6million fortune, thanks to his recent TV stint in the BBC comedy drama The Outlaws.

The party has coincided with the release of John’s documentary John Cleese Packs It In, which saw him let cameras follow his every move.
As well as starring in the famous Monty Python sketch show and a series of films, John also co-wrote and starred in the 1970s sitcom Fawlty Towers, winning a BAFTA in 1980 for Best Entertainment Performance.
