The Today show co-host, 51, is building a $4.5million luxury residence in the exclusive lower north shore suburb of Castlecrag, located 9km north of Sydney's CBD.

The latest images show the property has transitioned from a heavily excavated site into a substantial multi-level concrete structure, now complete with a finished metal roofline.

The star couple completely demolished a humble 1960s brick house to make way for the contemporary build, which they will soon be moving into along with their daughter Harper, six.

The new structure has been pushed significantly further back toward the rear boundary of the block, where a spa and gazebo once stood, maximising the footprint of the home while heavily reducing the remaining outdoor backyard space.

The new images showcase distinct modern design features, including a large, open upper-level entertaining terrace, slanted architectural window frames, clean geometric concrete lines and a prominent circular feature on the roof.

The build looks to be moving at a steady pace, with the rapid progress coming after a lengthy one-year planning dispute with Willoughby Council over the original development application.

Local neighbours raised a series of objections regarding the couple's ambitious plans, citing concerns over a 'loss of views' and potential glare from proposed solar panels.

The build also ran into compliance issues regarding local floor space ratio controls, with the original blueprints seeking to create 102 square metres of living space below ground level.

The deadlock was broken in March 2024 following a two-day hearing in the Land and Environment Court, which ultimately ruled in favour of the celebrity couple.

Meanwhile, by December 2024, the demolition was well and truly underway, with the roof removed and several internal walls demolished while the brick exterior remained.

Karl and Jasmine purchased the property in 2021 for $3.2million.

A design sketch shows the finished property will feature a stunning contemporary design, spacious surroundings, French windows and an indoor circular staircase.

The site looks vastly different compared to last year, when the property was reduced to a pile of rubble
