Hollywood stalwart Stefanie Powers had an incredible career in the 1970s and 1980s.

The 83-year-old redheaded actress got her big break in 1966 when she was cast as April Dancer in the NBC spy series The Girl From U.N.C.L.E.

Then she became a household name by starring as a brainy beauty alongside Robert Wagner in the television series Hart To Hart.

The star is now an activist who lives in Los Angeles with her dogs.

On Wednesday the TV icon, who used to date Sabrina star William Holden, shared a cute Christmas card with her fur children.

‘We all wish you a very Merry Christmas and a very Happy 2026!’ wrote the siren in her Instagram caption. Powers wore dark green as she sat with her four dogs.

Wagner also took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a message: ‘Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Wishing you joy, love, and all the blessings this season brings.’

Hart To Hart aired from 1979 until 1984 and was about a rich, good-looking married couple who solved murders as a hobby.

The show was created by Sidney Sheldon.

Each episode revolved around self-made millionaire Jonathan (played by Wagner) and freelance writer Jennifer (starring Powers) who are the child-free Harts, though they do dote on the rescue dog Freeway.

Their sidekick was the streetwise butler Max, played by Lionel Stander.

Famous guest stars on the series included Ray Milland, Capucine, Eve Arden, Tommy Lasorda, Tippi Hedren, Julie Newmar and Robert Davi.

Later, there were several spin-off Hart To Hart movies.

Last year Powers shared a photo from a rare public appearance in April when she attended an award show in Germany.

‘I had a wonderful time in Germany attending the Gloria Awards and was so warmly welcomed by the hosts and participants all of whom were such great supporters of Hart to Hart. Thank you all so very much,’ she said in a caption.

She also showed off her signature red hair as she posed for snaps on the red carpet.

Powers has also done reality TV.

She participated in ITV survival reality game show, I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2011.

In an interview in 2019, Stefanie admitted she was happy to be the first star voted off the show.

She explained that she didn’t find many of her fellow campmates ‘terribly interesting’ and mocked the show for being far from authentic.

The animal activist said the reason she had signed up for the show in the first place was to raise awareness of the William Holden Wildlife Foundation – she dated Sunset Boulevard star William Holden from 1972 until his death from a fall in 1981.

She said: ‘I was raising money for our William Holden Wildlife Foundation. Which, I thank you very much, was considerable and very helpful to our work in Kenya.’

The William Holden Wildlife Foundation is a 501 non-profit organization based in the United States whose principal project is the William Holden Wildlife Education Center located near Nanyuki, Kenya.
