Kylie Jenner’s best friend Anastasia ‘Stassie’ Karanikolaou revealed that she underwent butt reduction surgery months after admitting she ‘regretted’ getting a BBL.
The 28-year-old media personality – who has had a close relationship with the beauty mogul for years – shared a TikTok video on Tuesday as she filmed herself resting at a recovery center.
Back in May, the star said she had gotten a BBL (Brazilian Butt Lift) but explained at the time it was ‘something that I regret.’
‘I’m at a surgery recovery center recovering from this a** reduction,’ Stassie explained while nibbling on chicken fingers and fries.
‘I just got my pain medicine, it just kicked in,’ she added but told her followers that she felt ‘comfortable.’
The influencer continued, ‘From what I’ve seen, this a** looks nice, lifted, smaller. I’m so excited to be healed and to feel more comfortable in my skin.’

She ended the clip by sending love to her fans and requested for kindness in the comment section ‘because I’m in pain. I’m just a girl.’
Stassie followed up with another video on Wednesday to respond to a clip that claimed she had BBL removal to simply follow trends.
‘I would just like to state that the reason why I’m sharing my experience currently is because I wish I had someone that showed me the not glamorized side of plastic surgery when I was younger and I was 18 and I made this decision.’
The media personality added that she had been ‘trying for years’ to reverse the BBL which had made her ‘more insecure.’
‘With that being said, I think anyone should do whatever they want to do to their bodies – whatever they choose.’
She further expressed, ‘I just feel like this was a mistake I made super young and I shared my experience now because I’m hoping that I can help anyone at the end of the day.
‘That’s all I care about. Hope I can help someone from making the same mistake that they’ll regret. And that you definitely shouldn’t change your body to follow a trend…’
Stassie then offered advice to her 4.3 million TikTok followers and said, ‘Do what makes you comfortable, not what you think you should do.’

The star also panned the camera to briefly show her backside while propped up on her side on a couch.
‘It’s still there. I can’t get it gone fully. I just want it to be more proportioned to this body,’ Stassie quickly added before blowing a kiss to the camera.
Back in May, Stassie appeared on an episode of Bravo Bri’s podcast and admitted to getting a BBL.
‘I don’t have a** implants and I don’t think it’s anything I can hide at this point, yes I have a BBL. I moved fat around,’ she said.
The media influencer explained that she had also recently undergone a breast augmentation.
The topic was switched back to Stassie’s BBL when she expressed, ‘Obviously I got this done super young.
‘It’s something that I regret and I think that’s why it’s been so hard to talk about for so long.’
Stassie told the podcast host, ‘I literally have another surgery in a week to try and reduce the size of it a little more.’

Stassie also commented on the pressures women face to follow changing beauty standards.
‘Do not surgically change your body for a trend and just know that its only going to be relevant for a little bit. Anyone else that knows me knows this is something I’ve been trying to do for a long time.’
Three years earlier in 2022, the star made an appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast where she got candid about cosmetic procedures she has had.
‘I have not had butt implants. The only implants that I have are in my t**ties,’ she said at the time.
‘And I’m not saying that I haven’t done other things and I haven’t, you know, moved some things around or whatever the case may be.’
Stassie added, ‘But I just feel like I was at a point in my life when I was younger and I felt like my lips needed to be big, my boobs needed to be big. Everything…my butt needed to be big.’
She also discussed the ‘stigma’ when it comes to openly discussing cosmetic surgery; seen in 2024 in Beverly Hills

‘There’s such a stigma in plastic surgery and I feel like whether you say that you’ve done it or whether you don’t say you’ve done it, people are going to find a way to say something about it and like make it a negative thing.’
The influencer also shared, ‘No one needs to tell anyone anything if they don’t want to.’
Other celebrities have also recently undergone butt reduction surgery such as Cardi B – who was stuck on bed rest for three months following the procedure.
