It wasn’t Wen’s first performance, with the rogue fan also storming the stage during the Canadian singer The Weeknd’s Melbourne show last year.
He even spoke to 7News at the time about his antics, admitting he had been planning his cameo for months.
‘(There) was way too many security guards, it looked like it was impossible to get through,’ he said.
‘Somehow I just managed to find a small gap in my section and as soon as I was ready to run on the stage, I ran through that small gap and then I jumped up.’
He added: ‘I was extremely happy and as soon as I got to The Weeknd I knew that my plan worked.’
One user on Reddit claimed it was the same rogue fan who rushed the stage during a recent Sydney show of EDM duo The Chainsmokers.
‘That’s the same guy who jumped The Weeknd, The Chainsmokers and other artists/public events,’ the internet sleuth claimed.
‘Whether you like Katy or not, having some stranger violate you in such a way is terrifying. How this guy s even allowed in public is beyond me.’

Yet another claimed that the stage invader does not limit his antics to concerts.
He has a history of this,’ they wrote. ‘Looks like he did the same to The Weeknd last year, and ran onto the pitch at multiple cricket matches during the World Cup to harass Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma.’
News Corp confirmed on Tuesday that Johnson, whose Instagram bio reads ‘troll most hated’ does have form when it comes to unauthosised appearances.
In 2020, he received a $250 fine for dangling from a Brisbane footbridge and also received a $220 fine for a pitch invasion at a 2021 rugby union match.
