Spencer Matthews showed off his impossibly ripped physique on Instagram on Wednesday as he trained for his world record marathon challenge attempt.
The influencer, 35, will in July be embarking on his 30 desert marathons in 30 days challenge – and the feat will be a world first if he succeeds.
Spencer took to his Instagram to share a shirtless photo of himself and his training partner’s Tuesday run at the Maasai Mara National Reserve in Kenya.
He shared impressive statistics from his Tuesday run: 12km in just under an hour against an altitude of 1800m+.
Spencer also ran on Sunday and Monday, but took time out on Wednesday to enjoy a safari with his wife Vogue Williams and their children.

He wrote on Instagram on Sunday: ‘Why am I doing this? There are two main reasons: supporting brilliant charities and personal growth.
‘I’m inspired by the amazing work of organisations like ATF, Play Skills and Suicide & Co – three examples of small charities that this challenge will support through @globals_make_some_noise.
‘We aim to meaningfully improve the lives of young people on this journey. Personally, I’m curious to push my breaking point.
This challenge is as much about my mind as it is about physical endurance.
‘Please support my World Record Attempt and these great causes by donating whatever you can afford via the link in my bio. Together, we can change lives.’
Spencer is aiming to run 1,266km – the equivalent of running the entire length of the UK – completely on sand, in temperatures reaching well over 40 degrees Celsius.

Also on Sunday, Spencer explained to his over 800,000 followers why exactly he was doing such an excruciatingly strenuous challenge
Spencer shared in April: ‘I’ve chosen to raise money for @globals_make_some_noise because they work with a number of causes that are really close to my heart.
‘The work that they do helps change the lives of people enormously across the UK through working with some incredible small charities. PLEASE DONATE GENEROUSLY VIA THE LINK IN MY BIO.
‘I’ll be documenting my journey, so turn your page notifications on to be the first to know updates. And, for all the training follow me on @strava.
‘There’s a reason this has never been done before… Let’s make history!! #WorldRecord #UltraRunner #30in30.’

Spencer has shown that he is fighting fit, so the only barrier to his victory will be his willpower (pictured in c. 2020, left, and May, right)
