Spencer Matthews has admitted he is ‘so proud’ of his wife Vogue Williams as she continues her jungle journey in I’m A Celebrity.
The TV personality, 37, is currently continuing his mission to complete seven full Ironman triathlons on seven continents in just 21 days.
Spencer revealed he has been watching Vogue in the jungle ‘as much as he can’ during his challenge alongside a gushing post about how much he misses his wife, 40.
He wrote on Instagram: ‘Impossible to love this woman more… So proud. Not just of what she’s doing now, but generally.Â
‘Admiring her when we first met and wanting to be more like her helped me become a better person. I probably wouldn’t have achieved half the things I’m now proud of if it weren’t for her.
‘Every single banging tune that I listened to today reminded me of her. Sometimes I forget that we can’t talk and think to myself that I’ll call her and share the highs and lows of what we’re going through then remember that I can’t and it immediately makes me feel sad… I hate not speaking to her, it feels so weird.

‘I’m catching up when I can on her time in the jungle and just find myself grinning ear to ear watching her get more and more comfortable.
‘She is without a doubt the most extraordinary person I’ve met and has always had a deeply positive impact on everyone she meets.
‘Wishing her the absolute best of luck and sending love from afar.’
It comes after the Daily Mail revealed that Spencer won’t be flying to Australia for an iconic bridge moment with Vogue.
Praising Vogue on social media, he penned: ‘Delighted that I no longer need to sidestep this rumour!! It’s true, she’s in!!
‘Soon, the world gets to see what I’ve know for nearly 9 years – my wife is absolutely extraordinary.Â
‘Vogue isn’t just fearless and gorgeous on TV – she’s like that in life. What you see is what you get. She throws herself into opportunities with a rare mix of warmth, humour, grit and heart, and I’ve never met anyone who uplifts people quite the way she does.’
He continued: ‘She is loved by all and for good reason. She’s my best friend, a phenomenal wife and a perfect mother.Â

‘I’m very proud of her for taking on I’m A Celeb. She’ll be stepping outside her comfort zone, and that takes courage and if anyone can light up that jungle, it’s her.
‘To my amazing wife – good luck, my love. Be brilliant, as you always are. The kids and I are behind you every step of the way.’
Last week, the Daily Mail revealed Vogue had touched down at Brisbane Airport, but Spencer wasn’t with her.Â
The couple’s time apart also means missing their young children, Theodore, seven, Gigi, five, and Otto, three, who will remain in London while their famous parents embark on their long-haul adventures.Â
Spencer, who last year completed 30 marathons in 30 days in the desert, won’t even be able to watch Vogue take on Bush Tucker Trials as she navigates the jungle’s challenges and she won’t know if he completes his ‘Project Seven.’Â
A source revealed that the timing is ‘unfortunate’ but unavoidable, with the pair’s busy schedules clashing and neither commitment able to be moved.
They explained: ‘The timing isn’t ideal at all, but sometimes these things happen, and Vogue and Spencer’s diaries just clash.
‘Of course, Spencer would want nothing more than to support Vogue in Australia and be there waiting for her when she leaves the jungle but both committed to their own projects, and unfortunately, the schedules overlap.
‘There’s a small chance Spencer could finish his triathlon challenge ahead of schedule, but it’s unlikely he would then fly to Australia.
‘They’ll both be missing their children, who will stay in London, continue attending school, and no doubt support their parents from afar – catching Vogue on TV whenever they can.’
