Gracing the cover of FLAUNT magazine, Sophie said: ‘I think social media was just really becoming a big thing after I started on Game Of Thrones so I got a couple of years of peace and quiet and then I had to adjust.Â
‘It had such a profound impact on my mental health, like more than I could tell you, it almost destroyed me on numerous occasions.’
Sophie went on to say that she suffered from anxiety, depression and an eating disorder in the years after.

Back in March, the Mail on Sunday revealed that Sophie was set to move home to the UK with their two children; Willa, four, and Delphine, three.Â
In a previous interview with FLAUNT, Sophie explained how important the move had been for her ‘wellness.’
She told the publication: ‘I just feel so at home here. I never want to move again.
‘Living in the States, I didn’t appreciate how much you need friends and family and how integral they are to your wellness until you’re away from them.’Â
Sophie added: ‘I came back with an abundance of appreciation for them.’
Joe also got candid about the most ‘intimidating’ part of his divorce from Sophie and briefly gave insight into his love life during a TalkShopLive stream.Â
At one point, the performer talked about the track Only Love from his upcoming album Music For People Who Believe In Love – which dropped in May.

‘I was seeing somebody at the time and I was kind of having this idea of dating again,’ Jonas recalled.
‘It was really scary and intimidating. Love takes different shapes and forms and I was rediscovering what that was.’
Joe remembered that someone he was dating – and whom he did not name – had simply told him, ‘Well, it’s only love.
‘I was like, “Well, when you put it that way…” So we wrote a song about it. Like, it was not a big deal, but it was a big deal to me, and a big deal to them, too.’
The former Disney channel star added: ‘But it’s okay to take a leap of faith and just try again and put yourself out there.’
