Sophie Kasaei has opened up about her fertility struggles, revealing she suffered a chemical pregnancy while trying for a baby with her boyfriend Jordan Brook.
A chemical pregnancy is a very early pregnancy loss which usually happens just after the embryo implants.
The former Geordie Shore star told how she was overjoyed when she had a positive pregnancy test but when she checked again, ‘the line was gone’.
Speaking on the Happy Mum, Happy Baby podcast, she said: ‘You’re like, oh, I feel a bit sick today. Yeah. My God, I’m pregnant. Yeah. So that happened quite a bit.
‘And there was one sad time that I woke up one morning and there was two lines, and I was like, oh my God. I was like, oh my God, there’s a line. Oh my God. Am I pregnant? I was like, nowhere. Could this happen?
‘So obviously the camera, you know. Yeah, the Instagram video. And I was like shouted Jordan in the room, we celebrated. And it was just amazing. This moment felt like just it, just everything I’ve ever wanted.

‘But then I was like, right, I’m just going to take another one just in case. And Jordan was like, I’ve gotta go filming now. I was like, wait, you go filming? I’ll be fine. This is amazing. He was kissing his and it was just fab.
‘He left to go filming and I did it again and I went, oh, oh, the line’s gone. Was. That was really weird. Did. Did I just say that? Was that in my head? Am I like seeing things? So I looked into it and apparently saw a chemical pregnancy.
‘So it’s where the body is obviously producing a pregnancy, but it just goes. Yeah. So that was the probably a moment where it was like this, this. This is tough.
‘Extremely tough because you’re celebrating a pregnancy and you’re fantasizing over this life you’re going to have.
‘And then it’s taken away from you within ten minutes if that like 20 minutes or that was a really, really hard point of mine and Jordan’s fertility struggle.’
Sophie told how her life now feels ‘complete’ since she met Jordan after struggling to find a long term relationship on the Newcastle dating scene.
She said: ‘When I met Jordan, my life was just finally complete. I’d looked for someone for four years, and in that four year it was kissing so many frogs, going out with the wrong men and, you know, looking for, like, looking for love in other ways.
‘So, like, I’d post, like, bikini photos on Instagram, seeking validation for men. Or I would go to the clubs and if I couldn’t find someone, I’d just get black out drunk and go home depressed.

‘I had my own house in Newcastle and you know, when I think back to that time, it was amazing because I had my own home and it was successful, but I was really lonely and living in there for like four years. I just imagined a partner in there and a family.’
Elsewhere during the interview, Sophie revealed she ‘nearly died’ after having a free Brazilian butt lift in Turkey.
The reality star was promised she would have a body like Kim Kardashian after the procedure but was instead left with an abcess on her bottom which had to be removed in surgery.
She said: ‘I got a BBL and nearly died. I basically had an abscess growing on my left bum cheek. And it took over my whole body to the point where I was, I was away from from them saying I was dead. It was horrendous.
‘And I remember being in the hospital bed in South Shields Hospital and my family being there. And I just thought, this is this is probably my goodbye.
‘And the doctor came in. They were like, we’re going to have to rush into surgery right now. And I was like, what is going on? They said, if that abscess bursts inside your body, you were gonna basically. So I was like, I was like, all right.
‘And then still in my head, I remember seeing the doctor. Whatever you do, if there’s a scar, can you make it, like a really clean scar?
‘Cause I was still thinking about doing the magazines and what people think if I’ve got this massive scar. I was 24, ten years on now.’

Last year, Sophie candidly spoke about her fertility struggles.
The reality TV star admitted her fertility journey ‘hasn’t been the easiest’ as she thought ‘she would be able to fall pregnant straight away’.
Speaking to Heat magazine at the time, she said: ‘We’ve been trying for a few months now. I thought I’d get pregnant straight away, but it’s a lot harder than people think.’
Sophie, who started dating the TOWIE star in November 2022, added: ‘It’s not the easiest – there are definitely hard months but we’ll get there one day. At the moment, though, Jordan is loving the trying.
‘He’s having a field day because I’m fulfilling all of his needs and wants!’
Sophie has been incredibly open in the past about her battle with endometriosis which has led to her going through certain fertility tests.
The star was diagnosed back in 2020 when she opened up with her followers about her ‘excruciating’ battle with the condition.
Endometriosis is a condition resulting from endometrial tissue outside the uterus which causes pelvic pain and is often related to menstruation.
She compared her horrendous ordeal to someone ‘stabbing you in your ovaries’ when she shared her experience with her followers.
‘I want to say to anyone who suffers from endometriosis like it is so painful! I literally was just fine and I’ve started to cry again.
‘I’ve just done a PT session and I had to leave because the pain that I just felt driving home, honestly I can’t describe that pain.
‘It’s the most excruciating pain, it’s like someone’s got a knife and is just stabbing you in your ovaries.’
