According to the Buffalo Tribe website, Nicholas has a background in competitive basketball, athletics, rowing and CrossFit and has been a trainer for around 10 years.

Last year, Sophie split from her husband, Gold Coast dentist Dr Andrew Firgaira, after four months of marriage.
The former couple tied the knot in a ceremony in Byron Bay November 2022 after less than a year of dating.
Not long after, Sophie who has four children from previous relationships, announced they were expecting their first child together. Andrew is already father to two daughters.
However, the pair’s marriage sadly fell apart after Sophie tragically gave birth to a stillborn child and Dr Firgaira confirmed their split in March 2023.

He confirmed in an emotional post at the time: ‘In order to remove the constant speculation I’ll answer this once by saying we are no longer together.
‘I have my reasons why and I’m not prepared to discuss this matter any further.’
Sophie had announced her engagement to Dr Firgaira in June 2022, just over two years after splitting from MAFS star Jake Edwards in May 2020.
