Sonia Kruger, 60, shares her go-to exercises for toned arms

Sonia Kruger has given fans a rare insight into her fitness regimen.

The blonde beauty, 60, appeared on Sunrise on Friday to promote her online home fitness program Strictly You.

Putting her money where her mouth is, Sonia revealed her secret to trim and toned arms by leading hosts Matt Shirvington and Natalie Barr in a short routine.

‘It’s not about being skinny, it’s about being strong,’ she said before beginning the workout.

Sonia added that she is often asked by fans: ‘How do I get my arms?’ before revealing the five workouts that she swears by.

‘Every woman, and man, is going to stop in their lounge room and go, “I want Sonia’s arms,”‘ an excited Natalie said.

She started the workout with her arms outstretched in an exercise she dubbed ‘the Titanic.’

‘Imagine Leonardo DiCaprio is standing behind you – maybe not you, Matt – and pulse up and down. Then I want you to flip your arms over and pulse on the other side,’ she said.

‘We also call this [exercise] lady flaps.’

The next exercise saw Sonia reaching her arms into the sky in a not-so-subtle nod to a fellow TV veteran.

‘I like to call this one… this is Grant Denyer milking a cow,’ she said. ‘ He’s a friend of Sunrise, a good mate of mine, he would love this.’

The next exercise was a nod to iconic British ski jumper Eddie The Eagle, which saw Sonia crouching down with her arms outstretched behind her while pulsing her arms up and down.

‘I also call this Tinder date going well, that’s another name for that move,’ she joked.

Sonia then moved into air traffic controller position, with her arms raised above her head in a Y-shape.

Both Natalie and Matt appeared impressed with Sonia’s short workout regimen, with both admitting that they could definitely feel the burn.

It comes after Sonia revealed a glimpse into the skincare regimen that keeps her looking decades younger.

As a mum of a nine-year-old daughter, Maggie, and a busy career to boot, Sonia says she needs to keep her skincare simple.

She uses the Radiant Complexion Serum from Three Warriors, which retails for a reasonable $80.

‘My make-up artist Simone Forte loves that the serum keeps my face hydrated overnight and in the morning my skin already has a nice base,’ Sonia told The Beauty Diary in 2024.

The best part is, after I take off all my TV make-up and I’ve applied the Radiant Complexion Serum, I know I’m going to wake up with a beautiful glow in the morning’ she continued.

‘For busy working mums, we’ll take anything that works while we’re sleeping.’

Sonia is also a huge fan of the Three Warriors tanning lotion, revealing that it gets her beach-ready in ten minutes.

‘I’m not going to the beach unless I have a bit of tan on, as swimsuits are getting smaller, I’m getting bigger, so I need some coverage,’ she said.

‘[Fake] tan makes me feel like I look healthy, and also evens out my skin tone.’

Speaking to Daily Mail in 2024, Sonia said she swears by rich moisturisers and LED light masks, as well as a good fake tan to give you a year-round glow.

She insists the key to smooth and plump skin is hydration, hydration, hydration.

‘Winter can also be harsh on your skin, hair, and overall beauty routine,’ she said.

‘Incorporate hydrating face masks and LED light masks into your routine once or twice a week to boost moisture levels.’
