A European summer romance between Australia’s No. 1 real estate agent and a British socialite is the talk of the eastern suburbs.
Gavin Rubinstein, the founder of prestige real estate agency The Rubinstein Group, is sailing across the continent with his new girlfriend Ruby Adler.
But a cloud of controversy hangs over their sun-kissed fling: Ruby was, until recently, in a relationship with Reza Amiri, her co-star on UK reality show Made In Chelsea.
In fact, the latest season of Made In Chelsea wrapped around April, with Ruby and Reza agreeing to remain a couple after a rocky period of being on and off.
But shortly after their happy ending was filmed, Ruby clearly had second thoughts.

She ended things with Reza, 38, and then promptly flew to the U.S. where she was spotted with Gavin – the star of Amazon Prime Video real estate series Luxe Listings Sydney – in the crowd at an LA Lakers game.
Reza was said to be ‘devastated’ after anonymous Instagram accounts forwarded him photos of the two sitting together next to Hollywood actor Jason Segel.
He apparently only found out about their rendezvous – which also included a visit to the Beverly Hills Hotel and a Rodeo Drive shopping spree – weeks after it happened.
Despite the wild speculation that followed, neither Ruby nor Gavin, 34, confirmed they were an item. But now it seems they’re no longer interested in hiding.
They went public on Monday when Gavin posted a gallery of Instagram snaps with Ruby while living it up on a yacht off the coast of the French Riviera with friends.
In one snap, Ruby’s body was draped over Gavin as they relaxed on deck.
Another picture showed the perma-tanned twosome cuddling up in front of a pair of wine glasses, looking very much a couple.
They were joined on the yacht by Cae Thomas – a salesman at The Rubinstein Group – and Tas Costi – whose wife Shani is a buyer’s agent who featured on Luxe Listings.

Before letting the cat out of the bag, Ruby had spent weeks dropping hints she was being courted across Europe by a mystery fella, with her Instagram posts offering glimpses of a man’s hand without revealing his identity.
A source familiar with the romance tells us: ‘Gavin really likes Ruby – he’s spending a fortune on her.’
But before you write this off as a standard rebound romance, there’s a few more twists to the tale.
Firstly, this isn’t the first time Gavin has been linked to a Made In Chelsea star.
We’ve heard he used to date Tayla Cohen from Made in Chelsea: Sydney – a spin-off mini-series that saw the English toffs jet Down Under for some winter sunshine.
Our society spies say Ruby ‘has always been frosty with Tayla’.
However, we doubt Tayla will have much to say about her frenemy getting cosy with her ex, as she just got engaged to a wealthy Englishman in Europe.

Before getting with Ruby, Gavin’s last confirmed romance was with model Holly Young, the Perth girl who reinvented herself as an eastern suburbs socialite.
They hard-launched on Instagram in August 2024 but had split by the end of the year.
Neither of them announced their break-up at the time, though we heard whispers they fell out while on holiday.
Shortly after that split, Holly – who was once linked to Usain Bolt – raised eyebrows by hooking up with one of Gavin’s good mates, serial entrepreneur Richie Harkham.
She dropped a hint about their fling by reposting an Instagram Story from Richie’s winery on Christmas Day – with Gavin nowhere to be seen.

It comes after a source told Daily Mail last month that Reza was ‘completely devastated’ and ’embarrassed’ to find out Gavin was seeing his ex-girlfriend.
He is said to be dreading the thought of it playing out on Made In Chelsea next year.

At one stage, Reza romanced Love Island star Tina Stinnes while Ruby had a fling with Miles Nazaire.
Still, the pair looked keen to make things work at the end of the most recent season – making Ruby’s decision to end things then partner up with Gavin all the more baffling.
