Snoop Dogg showed his support for Team USA while watching the Artistic Women’s Gymnastics qualifications during the 2024 Paris Olympics on Sunday.
The Drop It Like It’s Hot rapper, 52 — who recently cheered on swimmers as they claimed Team USA’s first gold medal — could be seen sitting in the crowded stands to watch the event at Bercy Arena.
The music artist sported an Olympic jacket that was zipped up at the front and contained the stars of the American flag on the left sleeve and the back.
The right side of the jacket had a red sleeve with the words ‘USA’ written in white lettering, while the NBC symbol could also be seen on the front.
Shortly before the Olympic games began over the weekend, he was notably named a special correspondent for the network.

He recalled, ‘holding the torch, walking through the city. Man, I felt like Muhammad Ali,’ referencing to the late professional boxer.
‘It was extraordinary, it was excellent. And I found out that when you hold the torch, you’re a peace messenger. So, I really felt good about that.’
In regards to the crowds that also witnessed him with the Olympic torch, Snoop Dogg added, ‘I was waving, shaking hands, kissing the babies, doing what I do…putting my foot in the pavement.’
‘Letting the people know that we’re here. We’re here for peace, love and unity, and great sportsmanship. That’s what we’re here for, baby.’
And during a recent interview with Time Magazine, the rapper discussed taking on the role of a special correspondent for NBC during the 2024 Paris Olympics.
When asked why he chose to take on the big job, he expressed, ‘Why not? Not why. This is what I do, you know what I’m saying? I love being in front of the people.’
‘I love sports. I know what I’m talking about. The network is appealing enough to understand that we deserve each other. So we’re gonna make magic.’

‘There was only one TV in the house, so whatever one member of the family was watching, we were all forced to watch it. The Olympics was big because it would take over the whole house whenever it would come on.’
Snoop Dogg added, ‘And it’s special ’cause you’re seeing athletes for the first time in three, four years and they’re representing the country. So that meant a lot, watching it as a kid.’
