Slash broke his silence following the tragic death of his stepdaughter Lucy-Bleu Knight aged 25 earlier this month.
The Guns N’ Roses legend, 58, announced his beloved stepdaughter’s death in a heartbreaking Instagram statement last week. Her cause of death is currently unknown.
Over the weekend, Slash shared a poignant selfie of Lucy-Bleu and detailed his grief at losing her.
He wrote: ‘My heart is permanently fractured. I will never ever stop missing you & remembering what a beacon of happiness, laughter, creativity & beauty you have always been. & still are.
‘The brightest light in the lives of so many that loved you so much. I find solace in the hope that you are at peace now. I will love you eternally.

According to Los Angeles Medical Examiner records obtained by In Touch Weekly Knight died on July 19 at a private residence.
The autopsy was completed and the body is ready for release but the cause of death has been deferred pending additional testing. An investigator has been assigned to the case.
Slash has cancelled four tour dates of his solo S.E.R.P.E.N.T Tour to grieve his devastating loss.
His post read: ‘Lucy-Bleu Knight (December 6, 1998), beloved daughter of Meegan Hodges and Mark Knight, stepdaughter of Samantha Somers Knight and Slash, sister of Scarlet Knight, stepsister of London and Cash Hudson, passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA on July 19, 2024.
‘Lucy-Bleu was an incredibly talented artist, a passionate dreamer, and a charming, lovable, sweet soul.
‘The family asks for privacy at this time and requests that social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve and process this devastating loss.’
Slash first dated Lucy’s mother Meegan Hodges in 1989 before rekindling their relationship years later in 2015. Meegan shared her late daughter Lucy with Mark Knight.
Meegan also shared the same statement on her Instagram, penning: ‘I love you’

Lucy boasted 35,000 followers on Instagram and reportedly worked at Electric Lady Management, the talent arm of the recording studio.
Three hours after Slash posted the announcement, a selfie of Lucy alongside a caption was shared on her Instagram.
It read: ‘Whether I made you feel excluded, manipulated/ controlled you, told you to quit your day job from the comfort of being financially supported by my parents, or drowned real issues in toxic positivity-I am sorry.
‘Countless missed opportunities and connections due to a disgustingly big ego, insecure heart and fear of being vulnerable. May my soul learn to evolve from my poor job at being Lucy-Bleu. Peace.’
