SkyNews Australia staff were busted watching Married At First Sight on Tuesday night amid the 2025-2026 Federal Budget lockup.
Australian journalist Sharri Markson shared images to Instagram in a shock moment which saw the controversial Channel Nine series playing in the background at the SkyNews Canberra studios.
Unaware of her surroundings, the author, 41, was all smiles as she posed in a red ensemble for the photo, oblivious to the huge TV screen behind her which had couple Awhina Rutene and Adrian Araouzou plastered on it.
‘Out of lock-up and onto Sky News for budget analysis in Canberra!’ Sharri captioned the reel of photos.
Sharri dressed in all red for the photos, opting for a long skirt, shirt, and conservative jacket over the top as she paired it with bright red lipstick.
The TV presenter curled her long brunette tresses and finished her accessories with staple pieces of gold jewellery.

It comes after Treasurer Jim Chalmers handed down the Federal Budget on Tuesday night, with Anthony Albanese’s government announcing several promises to ease the cost-of-living for struggling Australians.
Among those promises are two tax cuts starting from next year, along with a $150 energy rebate and wiping $19billion from existing student debt.
Those tax cuts have passed the House of Representatives and will go the Senate.
Aussies have also been told nine out of ten GP visits will essentially be free as part of the government’s overhaul of Medicare, with $7.9billion injected into bulk-billing incentives.
Dr Chalmers has also committed to delivering a $793million women’s health package.
