Skye Wheatley has shared her battle with eating disorders on Tuesday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Australia.
The former Big Brother star and influencer opened up on her battle, discussing how being in the spotlight affected her self image and led to bulimia.
‘I’ve had eating disorders when I was much younger,’ the 30-year-old told her campmates.
‘Just all the pressure, Instagram, and being in the spotlight. I felt that I had to look a certain way.’
She continued: ‘I’m a really bad binge eater. I used to do it once a week. You’d feel sick about the amount of food I was eating in one sitting.

‘I think it’s my ADHD. With ADHD you are always searching for that quick dopamine hit. Packets of chips, Maltesers, two-minute noodles, blocks of chocolate.
‘Everything within one sitting. I’d finish it all off and then within one hour.’
Skye previously revealed she suffered with anorexia and binge-eating in the past, and while she has been doing much better since becoming a mother, she still has bingeing episodes.
In a 10-minute video posted to her Instagram and TikTok, the former Big Brother star showed her followers all the food she ate during her last binge and how many calories it was, however, she didn’t say exactly when this was.
However, she stressed that she has not been diagnosed by a medical professional with a binge-eating disorder.

‘I have suffered with body image and how my body looks and didn’t have a good relationship with food. I would binge eat to where I would just sleep… eat to the point of exhaustion,’ she began.
‘I wanted to share with you guys how many calories I ate in my last binge-eating session,’ she said in the video as she sat in front of chocolate, cupcakes, ice cream, sweets and pizza.
‘All of this on my table is what I ate in my last binge-eating episode, it wasn’t everything.
‘This is how many calories I consumed, it was over a day, I had 3,792 calories exactly, I went to Coles and got all my fave snacks and I started eating.’

Skye added that she went to her mothers and ate a sandwich and then brought her two sons, Forest, four, and Bear, one, to McDonalds and ate their leftovers.
She has a much better relationship with food now than when she was younger.
‘When I was younger living at home I would do it once a week as an escape,’ she said.
‘I’ve had bulimia, anorexia, not severe anorexia but there were stages in my life where I did not eat and it would cause a binge-eating session.
‘I have not starved myself since I was in my adolescent years, I have a good relationship with food now, I don’t count my calories, I don’t deprive myself.’
