Robert Irwin and his sister Bindi Irwin have become embroiled in a friendly sibling rivalry.
On Monday, Robert, 20, shared an Instagram exchange with Bindi, 25, after he was nominated for a Gold Logie.
‘At least mine’s gold’ Robert teased, to which Bindi replied ‘You haven’t won it yet…’ alongside a laughing emoji.
‘Well actually, I did get nominated for two Logies. Hahahaha S0000…’ Robert joked.
‘Sorry, I can’t hear you over my Emmy Award…’ Bindi said, referring to her win for Outstanding Performer in a Children’s Series when she was just nine-years-old.

‘Dang it’ Robert replied, before he shared a screenshot of the chat to his Instagram page.
‘Okay uh… really gonna need that Logies vote now guys. It just got real’ Robert wrote in his caption alongside the post.
Some of the pair’s famous friends found it all funny with Melissa Leong writing, ‘I’m living for this quality sibling hazing’.
‘Queen behavior @bindisueirwin here for the sibling rivalry’ added Ellie Gonsalves.
Bindi later cheekily encouraged Robert’s fans to vote for him for the Gold Logie, albeit alongside a photo of herself holding her own Emmy.

It comes after a longstanding rivalry between the Irwin siblings came to light after a new species of snail was named after Robert.
Scientist Dr Lorelle Stanisic recently discovered a new native snail, Figuladra robertirwini, which she named after Robert, making him just the third Irwin family member to have a snail named after him.
His late father Steve has the rare tree snail, Crikey steveirwini, while his sister Bindi has a tiny charopid land snail named after her.
And Dr Stanisic revealed she named the snail after Robert after noticing a sibling rivalry with his sister Bindi several years ago.
‘My husband John was telling Terri (Irwin) all about how he was in the middle of naming this cute little snail after Bindi,’ the scientist told ABC, before adding she noted a hint of jealousy from the younger Irwin.

‘I took one look at Robert’s face, Robert didn’t say a word, you could tell like all brothers he was thinking, “Oh gosh she’s getting a snail”,’ she added.
Dr Stanisic then made a promise to one day name a species after the young wildlife warrior.
‘I had to decide which one I was going to name for Robert… I knew of his love of photography, so in the hope that he might go and actually photograph some of the beautiful areas (where the snails are located) of the Eurimbula National Park and Rodds Peninsula and around 1770,’ she explained.
Robert took to Instagram on April 21 to share a video announcing the exciting news to his social media followers.
‘What a huge honour to have a newly discovered snail species named after me! Introducing Robert Irwin’s banded snail…’ he captioned the post.
